NBA DFS Picks: Prime Time Players

Bojan Bogdanovic: Utah Jazz at Toronto Raptors

DraftKings $6,800, FanDuel $6,9400, Yahoo $25 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 12.1%, FanDuel 16.2% Yahoo Fantasy 9.6%

With the DFS sites choosing different start times for their main slates today, I decided to just focus on the 6 p.m. EST games. This way, the plays will be helpful to all gamers playing tonight.

Bojan Bogdanovic has been outstanding with his new team and he is actually second with scoring at 22.1 points per game. This is a career high along with his 4.4 rebounds per game, 46.8 three-point percentage,, 2.2 assists and 33.3 minutes per game. The NBA DFS world has been slow to take notice of this and the matchup against Toronto is decent for him.

Both teams are excellent at defense and more deliberate with half court sets, but that should not be too much of an issue for Bogdanovic. We can also pair him with teammate Donovan Mitchell, who has been amazing this season and taking another step towards stardom.

NBA DFS Picks: Good Value

Markelle Fultz: Orlando Magic vs. Golden State Warriors

DraftKings $5,300, FanDuel $5,300, Yahoo $17 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 16.5%, FanDuel 30.0% Yahoo Fantasy 16.1%

On the season Markelle Fultz is shooting 49.4% from the field and 81.1% from the line. The combination of being healthy and out of the Philadelphia spotlight has helped him regain his confidence. Over his last five games, he is averaging 28.3 minutes per game, 14.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 combined blocks and steals. Golden State is the fourth-worst defensive team in the league, allowing 111.6 points per possession. We can also look to fellow University of Washington standout Terrence Ross as another discount option in the same matchup.

NBA DFS Picks: Risky Value

Mike Conley: Utah Jazz at Toronto Raptors

DraftKings $5,800, FanDuel $6,400, Yahoo $21 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 19.5%, FanDuel 22.0% Yahoo Fantasy 11.1%

New point guard Mike Conley has actually been doing a reasonable job in Utah, but it his fantasy production is dramatically curbed as he is now the third or even fourth option on offense depending on how you count Rudy Gobert. The minutes are there, but the fantasy goodness is gone.

Over the last four games, Conley has averaged 29.7 minutes but just 23.0 fantasy points. This year, he has reached the 40 fantasy point plateau only twice which is not going to help us in tournaments. Of course, he also will not be popular which is an asset, but only if he can produce.

FantasyCruncher Tip of the Day

Use promo code PRIMETIME to receive 50% off any one-month premium subscription (including FantasyCruncher options).

With the incredibly user-friendly and flexible rules creation feature on FantasyCruncher, we can take our lineup construction to the next level.

Today we are going to talk about the FantasyCruncher roster display settings. By clicking on the gear icon after you have run your initial crunch, you can access a variety of display settings.

When you choose the gear, you will see the following menu appear.

From here you can customize the displays, one I like to show is the Projected Ownership. This can then be used to sort lineups.

Final Thoughts

Pay attention to the different games on each slate if you are playing on different sites. Most importantly be sure to watch Fast Eddie Fear on the NBA Live Before Lock show at 4 p.m. EST.

As always, you can reach out to me in Awesemo.com Premium Slack or on Twitter @EMacDFS if you have any NBA DFS questions about DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo or FantasyDraft.
