NBA DFS Picks & Optimal Lineup Construction | Nov. 26

Malik Beasley, SG/SF, Minnesota Timberwolves

Beasley stands out as one of the best sources of value on Friday’s slate, especially on DraftKings. He is priced at just $3,900, and he is coming off one of his best games of the season in his last outing. He racked up 39.25 DraftKings points over 37.5 minutes, and his playing time spiked following the injury to Patrick Beverley. Beverley has already been ruled out for Friday’s matchup vs. the Hornets, and Beasley figures to be one of the biggest beneficiaries.

The Hornets are also an excellent matchup for the Timberwolves. They rank just 21st in defensive efficiency, and they have also played at the third-fastest pace in the league. That is an excellent combo for fantasy purposes. Expect Beasley to grade out favorable from a value perspective in our NBA Projections.

Dennis Schroder, PG/SG, Boston Celtics

Schroder stands out as one of the preferred sources of value on FanDuel. He is priced at just $6,100, and he should benefit from the Celtics’ current injury situation. Josh Richardson and Robert Williams are not expected to play, while Jaylen Brown is questionable.

Schroder saw plenty of playing time with Richardson and Williams out of the lineup in their last game. He racked up 35.8 minutes, and Schroder has averaged 0.90 FanDuel points per minute. That should be more than enough playing time to pay off his current salary.

If Brown is also ruled out, Schroder would near must-play territory. He would likely command significant ownership, but I would expect him to pop in the optimal lineup at a high rate in our Boom/Bust Probability tool.

Facundo Campazzo, PG, Denver Nuggets

Things continue to go from bad to worse for the Nuggets from an injury perspective. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. remain out of the lineup, while Nikola Jokic is questionable. If Jokic is ultimately ruled out, it will leave the team without all three of their max-contract players. Even P.J. Dozier and Bones Hyland are out of the lineup, so this team has plenty of minutes and shot attempts available.

Campazzo is someone who could take advantage. He has logged at least 26 minutes in each of his past three games, and he has racked up 24.5 DraftKings points or more in two of them.

Campazzo could also provide some value in the player prop market. He is not a particularly high-usage player, but he typically hands out a few assists when he gets minutes. Make sure to take advantage of the Awesemo Player Prop tool, which highlights the most exploitable prop bets each day.
