- Josh: Ky Bownman has had plenty of chalk days this season but today doesn’t appear to be one of them based on our current ownership projections. If you’re looking for a bit of extra savings, particularly on DraftKings, I think it’s a worthwhile gambit. Bowman sees additional minutes when Draymond Green misses games. It has much less to do with guards being out. With Green on the bench for this one, I expect Bowman to get a bit of run. His two-way contract is coming to an end soon, so they’re limited in the amount of times they can give him heavy run. This should be one of those times. At minimal ownership, it’s easily worth a flyer.
- Emac: Domantas Sabonis. Depending on your preferred fantasy site, he will land in the 10-20% ownership range. While he has topped 50 fantasy points only four times this season, he has had 47 in three straight and while the Charlotte Hornets are playing at the slowest pace in the league over the last month, they are in the bottom 10 for rebounding and defensive efficiency and bottom five for points in the paint allowed. With a little luck, Sabonis will be among those competing with Luka Doncic for the most fantasy points tonight.
- Spags: Kevin Huerter: Huerter is over 38.25 fantasy points in his last three games and he’s had a more secure role in recent weeks with a rising price that hasn’t fully caught up to how he’s played. Huerter is unlikely to be the focus of Denver’s defense with Trae Young and possibly John Collins on the court and he’s very capable of taking advantage if he continues to see 17 or 18 shots per game. The elevated price is scary but he has potential at near zero ownership.
