- Josh: Goran Dragic. For a guy that’s seen his minute trend higher over the past few weeks, Dragic is going a bit ignored. He’s been his normal self this season, averaging 0.96 FP per minute. On a day where pricing is all over the place, getting a quality point guard against a terrible Hornets defense feels like an excellent GPP pivot.
- Adam: Jeff Teague. He has averaged 1.06 DraftKings points per minute this season and has played at least 33 minutes in four straight games. He faces a bad Atlanta defense in a game with a total that is more than 10 points higher than the second-highest game on the slate and he is projected for virtually no ownership.
- Emac: Trae Young. For all the reasons to love the matchup for Karl-Anthony Towns, we have a near mirror image when looking from Atlanta’s side of things. The T’Wolves play at a top-five pace and are ambivalent on defense. This is paying up to be contrarian, though with the mispricings with DraftKings (Brogdon, Tatum, Jaylen Brown), FanDuel (VanVleet, Dinwiddie), Yahoo (Fultz, Ross, Spellman) and Wanamaker everywhere, we can take a variety of paths to make our rosters different and going with Young is a prime example. We can pair him with Towns/Teague for some in-game synergy.
