FREE NBA Daily Fantasy Rankings from Awesemo’s Premium Big Board Tool Today | Paul George 11/13/21

The NBA DFS Big Board is a one-stop shop for building lineups. It gives each player on the slate a Points Rating, Value Rating and Leverage Rating on a scale from 1 to 100, which allows you to easily decipher some of the top options on the slate. There are six games tonight so let us dive into some of the NBA daily fantasy rankings using the Big Board and Awesemo’s NBA DFS projections.

NBA Daily Fantasy Rankings & Big Board Projections

Paul George, SF, Los Angeles Clippers

DraftKings Points Rating: 96 | FanDuel Points Rating: 96

George leads the points rating category on both sites but Ja Morant of the Grizzlies is right behind him and his leverage score in the Boom/Bust tool is roughly 10-12% better than George depending on the site. Be sure to check out the Saturday Slate Starter to see why Morant is in such a great spot tonight against the Pelicans. Morant’s appeal does not change the fact that George sits atop the rating and his matchup is excellent as well.

George is among the league leaders in usage rate at 34.3% and his fantasy points per minute are just over 1.40. He finds himself in a matchup against a Timberwolves team that played last night and is ninth in pace. The play type data looks strong for George as he is fifth in field-goal attempts in isolation this year. Minnesota has faced the 11th-most attempts but has held the opposition to just a 35.5% field-goal percentage while George has only shot 42%. For added context, George shot 47% during last season so both numbers have room to regress to the mean. That would point toward a big game for George in this matchup.

Dennis Schroeder, PG/SG, Boston Celtics

DraftKings Value Rating: 78 | FanDuel Value Rating: 89

DraftKings offers some better value ratings like Patrick Beverley, who leads all players for that site. However, Schroeder is not a bad play on DraftKings and he leads the field in value rating for FanDuel tonight and that is very notable. The Celtics continue to be without Jaylen Brown which means they are in need of a secondary ball handler and scorer. Enter Schroeder, who has been starting for them and logging close to 33 minutes per night. The usage is up over 27% and while the fantasy points per minute aren’t staggering at 0.94, it’s also a perfectly fine number for the FanDuel salary.

Schroeder is slashing towards the basket over 16 times per game and that is a top-10 mark in the league. Cleveland is strong in points allowed in the paint at the second-fewest, which isn’t a surprise since they boast the Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen combo. However, Schroeder is passing from the drive 43% of the time and that should provide open looks for teammates and assist opportunities. He also is top 12 in free-throw attempts from that play type, so there is still plenty of ways for him to find the score sheet even facing a stronger interior defense.

The Awesemo premium NBA DFS tools love Schroeder in this spot, and Zach Brunner wrote about how great of a play he is tonight in his NBA DFS Boom/Bust Picks article.

Raul Neto, PG, Washington Wizards

DraftKings Value Rating: 89 | FanDuel Value Rating: 66

With the news that Bradley Beal is going to miss this game, the Wizards are going to be among the most popular players on the slate tonight. It’s not difficult to understand why since Beal carries so much of the offense and Spencer Dinwiddie, Kyle Kuzma and Montrezl Harrell will likely be three of the top 10 most popular plays. However, Neto checks in as top-six value on the Big Board on DraftKings tonight. He’s not needed as much on FanDuel with the extra and that’s why the value rating is so low. For DraftKings, he is near the minimum salary and that is intriguing.

The sample size is not large this year at just 74 minutes but when Beal has been off the court, Neto has produced with 1.11 fantasy points per minute and a 20% usage rate. The true shooting rate in the sample needs to be noted because 65.9% is high. However, Neto already averages around 22 minutes per night. If they tick up to 26 minutes or so and the fantasy points per minute fall to around 0.95 with more reasonable shooting, he would still be a very strong play at around 23-25 DraftKings points.
