Giannis Antetokounmpo stands out at the top of our Big Board from a points perspective, but he has gotten wildly expensive across the industry. He’s priced up to $11,900 on DraftKings and $11,500 on FanDuel, and it’s fair to wonder how much upside he provides at those price tags. He’s delivered two excellent performances recently – he’s scored 66.25 DraftKings points in both contests – but that’s barely been enough to return value.

With that in mind, moving down the board to someone like LaMelo Ball makes a lot of sense. Ball has displayed a similar ceiling to Giannis recently, and he’s coming off 60.75 DraftKings points in his last outing. He also draws an excellent matchup Saturday vs. the Hawks, who rank merely 27th in defensive efficiency. The total on this game sits at 227.0 points, which is the top mark on the slate by a sizable margin.

Ball stands out as an elite value on FanDuel at just $8,700, but he should carry significantly more ownership on that site. He’s popping as an interesting leverage option on DraftKings using the Boom/Bust Probability tool, so he’s worth some consideration in tournaments.

Jalen Suggs, PG/SG, Orlando Magic

DraftKings Value Rating: 100 | FanDuel Points Rating: 95

Sometimes you just need to eat the chalk in DFS, and Jalen Suggs feels like one of those options on Saturday. He’s been a strong fantasy producer as a rookie, averaging 0.82 DraftKings points per minute, and he logged more than 32 minutes in his last game. That alone is enough to make him a strong option.

Suggs should also benefit from the absence of Cole Anthony. He’s posted a team-high 26.0% usage rate with Anthony off the court this season, which gives him some additional scoring upside. The over on Suggs’ scoring prop is popping as one of the top plays in the Awesemo Player Prop tool.

Suggs is also showing up in the optimal DraftKings lineup more than 45% of the time using the Boom/Bust Probability tool, so he’s the definition of “good chalk.”

Dewayne Dedmon, C, Miami Heat

DraftKings Value Rating: 99 | FanDuel Value Rating: 99

Dewayne Dedmon has the potential to be another nice source of value on Saturday. Bam Adebayo is currently questionable, and head coach Erik Spoelstra called him a game-time decision vs. the Wizards.

If Adebayo is unable to suit up, Dedmon would be expected to take his spot in the starting lineup. He’s started the past two games that Adebayo has missed, and he racked up 24.75 DraftKings points in one of them. You’ll take that kind of production at his current price tag across the industry.

The big difference between Dedmon and Suggs is that Dedmon doesn’t appear to have the same ceiling. He owns a lower “boom” percentage than Suggs on DraftKings, which makes Suggs the preferred target on that site. The gap between Suggs and Dedmon is larger on FanDuel, so Dedmon does have the edge there. You can definitely play both players together, but I would side with Suggs if only choosing one.
