DraftKings & FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Advice Today

Devin Booker, PG/SG Phoenix Suns

Tuesday’s slate is a bit limited in terms of star power. The slate lacks a true fantasy superstar, and only two players are priced above $9,600 on DraftKings.

Booker may not be priced like a fantasy superstar, but he’s been playing like one recently. He’s scored at least 55.5 DraftKings points in two of his past three games, and he’s been asked to operate more as a distributor with Chris Paul out of the lineup. He’s increased his usage rate by +8.8% in six games without Paul this season, resulting in an average of 49.92 DraftKings points per game.

Booker should be able to put together another strong performance vs. the Pelicans. The Pels have played at a faster pace recently, and they rank 19th in defensive efficiency for the year. Considering the difference in salary between Booker and Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, he should stand out as the best stud value in our NBA Projections.

Tyus Jones, PG, Memphis Grizzlies

Ja Morant is currently doubtful for the Grizzlies, which means Jones has the chance to move into the starting lineup. Jones has crushed in that role so far this season. He’s had 10 games with at least 30 minutes of playing time, and he’s averaged 28.08 DraftKings points in those contests.

Jones has been even better of late on a per-minute basis. He’s increased his production to 1.02 DraftKings points per minute over the past month, and he’s scored at least 22.5 DraftKings points in three of his past four games despite failing to crack 20.1 minutes in each of those contests.

If Jones does move into the starting lineup, he’s going to be tough to avoid at just $3,400. He will likely command a massive ownership projection, but he should also own a massive optimal lineup score in the Boom/Bust Probability tool. That’s the type of chalk that’s worth eating.

Jose Alvarado, PG, New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans are going to be an important team to monitor on Tuesday. They’re still playing without Brandon Ingram, and C.J. McCollum is questionable. If McCollum is unable to suit up again, it’s going to open up plenty of usage and playing time for the rest of the roster.

Alvarado is someone who has benefitted from both players being out of the lineup recently. He’s averaged 1.02 DraftKings points per minute over the past month, and he’s managed to pay off his salary in three of his past four games. That includes a massive 48.0 DraftKings points in his last outing, albeit with a somewhat fluky six steals. Still, he recorded the first double-double of his career, and his outstanding per-minute production makes him a strong option on nights where he’s expected to play significant minutes.

Alvarado could also have some value in the player prop market if McCollum is ruled out. Make sure to take advantage of the Awesemo Player Prop tool, which highlights the most exploitable prop bets each day.
