DraftKings & FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Advice Today
Jrue Holiday, PG/SG, Milwaukee Bucks
Stars and scrubs has been the default approach for most of the season, but there’s an opportunity to build a strong mid-range lineup on Tuesday. There are limited stud options on the four-game slate, and some of the midrange options should also provide more value than usual.
That starts with Holiday for the Bucks. Khris Middleton has been ruled out against the Bulls, and Holiday has been one of the biggest beneficiaries with Middleton off the floor this season. He’s seen a team-high +5.4% usage rate bump in that situation, resulting in an average of 1.24 DraftKings points per minute. Conversely, Giannis Antetokounmpo has increased his usage rate by just +0.5% with Middleton off the floor, and he actually averages fewer fantasy points per minute in that situation.
The Bucks also have one of the best matchups of the day against the Bulls, and their implied team total of 118.5 ranks first on the slate by nearly five whole points. Expect Holiday to own solid marks in our NBA Projections.

DeMar DeRozan, SG/F, Chicago Bulls
DeRozan stands out as an appealing buy-low target on the other side of that matchup. His numbers have been down recently, which has caused his price tag to dip by -$2,100 on DraftKings and -$2,800 on FanDuel over the past month. His $7,800 price tag for FanDuel NBA lineups is particularly appealing, and DeRozan has averaged 40.54 FanDuel points in 13 games with a comparable salary this season.
This also represents a significant pace-up spot for the Bulls. They rank just 16th in pace over their past 10 games, but the Bucks rank second in that department. That should mean more possessions than usual for DeRozan to do damage.
It will be interesting to see DeRozan’s NBA DFS ownership projection on this slate. If NBA fantasy players are more inclined to play up for Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic, DeRozan would be an interesting leverage option in the NBA DFS Boom/Bust Probability tool.
Jordan Poole, PG/SG, Golden State Warriors
The biggest news in the NBA right now involves Steph Curry. The Warriors star point guard suffered an injury last week against the Celtics, and he’s expected to miss at least two weeks. The Warriors are hopeful he will be back before the end of the season, but that’s no guarantee.
Poole will have to do the heavy lifting for the Warriors for as long as Curry is sidelined. He’s already been playing exceptionally well of late — he’s averaged 1.15 DraftKings points per minute over the past month — and Poole has seen a team-high +5.6% usage bump with Curry off the floor this season. He led the team with a 28.8% usage rate in their last game, and he responded with 28 points scored. Poole will have the potential to do some more damage against the Magic, who rank 19th in defensive efficiency this season.
