Thursday’s seven-game NBA Dream11 slate kicks off the month of April and gets the NBA one step closer to the playoffs. When creating lineups, it’s important to find value spots that open up space to fit the superstars in. Dream11 NBA Picks: Awesemo Grades | April 1
PG Russell Westbrook – 21 Credits, 50.34 Projected Fantasy Points
Damian Lillard was extremely appealing in this same matchup against the Pistons last night, so it makes perfect sense to go right back to the scene of the crime. This time, though, it will be Westbrook taking aim at the Pistons, who are on the back end of a back-to-back set and a brutal string of five games in seven days. While this may not be the most glamorous-looking game on the slate, it will be a nice source of profitability.
Westbrook is doing ridiculous things in recent games, posting a triple-double in three straight (one assist shy of making it four) and seven of them over the last 10. At only 21 Credits, Westbrook is projected by Awesemo to have the third-most fantasy points of any player on tonight’s slate.
SF Gordon Hayward – 13.5 Credits, 37.79 Projected Fantasy Points
LaMelo Ball will likely be out for the rest of the season, and the Hornets have already found their footing without him. It’s shocking, considering how vital Ball was to the Hornets’ previous success. Even without him, Charlotte has now won three of its last four games.
Tonight, the Hornets will face a Nets team that already doesn’t play much defense. However, there is even more good news for Hayward and the rest of his team. It looks like James Harden will be out for this game, likely leading to a lot more rebounding opportunities. Hayward has really stepped it up in that department, averaging seven boards per game in the month of March — his highest of any month. In addition to the rebounding, Hayward is still continuing to get a consistent number of shot attempts each game.

PF Zion Williamson – 16 Credits, 41.48 Projected Fantasy Points
I wrote about Williamson a few days ago, and then he proceeded to post a career-high 39 points against the Nuggets. The next day, Williamson dropped 38 points — his second-best total — and he has been the beneficiary of some great matchups, just like tonight. The Magic are coming off a stunning road win against the Clippers (who rested numerous players). Because of that, it is unlikely the Magic will have the same type of intensity for tonight’s matchup with the Pelicans.
Look for Williamson to take advantage an Orlando team that just doesn’t have a lot of NBA talent. This should be a nice and easy win for the Pelicans, and Williamson will lend a helping hand.
Edit:Â Williamson has been ruled out.
