Dream11 NBA Picks: Awesemo Grades | April 7

PG Lonzo Ball – 13.5 Credits, 35.39 Projected Fantasy Points

While everyone is fired up for the return of Kevin Durant to the Nets lineup, gamers might be able to steal some thunder going with Ball. After all, this matchup against the Pelicans does have the highest total (230.5) of any game on tonight’s slate.

Ball has been going crazy on the stat sheet lately, scoring in double-figures and dishing out at least eight assists in each of the last four games. His versatility was never more evident than it was last night’s Pelicans’ game, as Ball added three steals and two blocks against the Hawks. Tonight should be a similar type of matchup, with plenty of points going up on the scoreboard. At only 13.5 credits, and as Awesemo’s No. 6 points guard on the slate, he offers a bit of savings instead rather than forcing paying up for guys like Russell Westbrook (21 credits) and Kyrie Irving (20.5 credits).

SG Caris LeVert – 9.5 Credits, 36.05 Projected Fantasy Points
SG Anthony Edwards – 9 Credits, 34.80 Projected Fantasy Points

There is quite a bit of familiarity with LeVert and Edwards here on Dream11. They get played a lot because their respective price tags are just too affordable to pass up on.

LeVert got off to a strong start last night before the Pacers faded down the stretch in a loss to the Bulls. In 33 minutes, he posted 20 points, six rebounds and five assists; it was only the second time over the last eight games that LeVert didn’t have multiple steals. Look for the Pacers to get back on track in a profitable matchup against the Timberwolves.

Speaking of the Timberwolves, their No. 1 overall pick is certainly turning heads around the league. With the injury to the LaMelo Ball, Edwards now has a wide-open chance to win the Rookie of the Year at the end of the season. At a similar price tag and projection of fantasy points, Edwards is a nice pivot off what will likely be a chalky LeVert. Edwards averaged 24.2 points per game in the month of March, and he will be looking to end the final stretch of the season on a strong note. As the fourth-best value on the slate, Edwards looks nice.

PF Aaron Gordon – 5 Credits, 33.76 Projected Fantasy Points

Since being traded to the Nuggets, Gordon hasn’t looked fully comfortable on the offensive end just yet. And it makes sense considering Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic have a firm grasp on the shot attempts in Denver’s potent offense. That is not to mention that there’s a fight for minutes and rebounds as well with Jokic and Paul Millsap in the lineup.

But there is hope, especially when Gordon is priced at a comically low 5 credits. He may not light up the stat sheet, but Gordon will have a good enough night you gamers can fit in superstars that will provide those huge point totals.

C Karl-Anthony Towns – 20.5 Credits, 52.00 Projected Fantasy Points

If searching for the star of the night, look no further than Towns. He has been simply amazing, averaging 28.1 points, 14.7 rebounds, five assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.7 steals over the last seven games.

Tonight’s matchup against the Pacers makes his play even better, considering this will be their second game in as many nights. Indiana allows the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, and this is clearly the point to attack on this team. Look for Towns to impose his will early and often, and he should approach 20 rebounds tonight. There is a reason Towns is projected for 52.41 points tonight — nearly two more than the next-closest player on the slate.
