Dream11 NBA Picks: Awesemo Grades | March 26
PG Darius Garland – 10 Credits, 34.35 Projected Fantasy Points
Garland has been putting up some huge nights lately, and his opportunities will certainly increase if Collin Sexton is unable to go for the second straight game. Because of the lack of talent on the Cavaliers’ roster, Garland will continue to get these chances. In fact, he has played at least 36 minutes in four of the last five games — the only exception being a blowout loss.
Tonight’s game against the Lakers is an intriguing one. The Lakers are only 3.5-point favorites, but it does make sense. After all, Los Angeles will be playing its second game in as many days, and it will also be its fifth game in seven nights. As an added benefit, Garland is in one of the very last games on the slate for a late-night hammer.
SG Michael Carter-Williams – 7.5 Credits, 38.90 Projected Fantasy Points
All of the trades by the Magic leads to a lot of opportunities for other players. Carter-Williams wasn’t lucky enough to get himself a ticket out of Orlando, but he has been in this position before — the No. 1 option on a horrible team. While Carter-Williams will be a lead guy, there is still some risk attached him.
However, tonight’s matchup against the Trail Blazers should give Carter-Williams all the chances to succeed. The Trail Blazers are also playing on the back end of a back-to-back and a string of four games in six days. While Portland may want to slow the pace a little more, its defense likely won’t have 100 percent left in the tank tonight. Awesemo’s projections have Carter-Williams down for 38 minutes, which is by far the most of any player atop the value rankings.

PF Zion Williamson – 16 Credits, 41.83 Projected Fantasy Points
Williamson finds himself in a sneaky good matchup against the Nuggets. This has been a favorable matchup for the Pelicans recently, as they have won four of the last five meetings.
The Pelicans haven’t played in each of the last two days, so Williamson will be fully rested for this matchup. At only 16 Credits, Awesemo has him projected to score the 10th-most fantasy points (41.83) of anyone on tonight’s massive 11-game slate. When the two teams met five days ago, Williamson dropped a cool 30 points on the Nuggets while going 9-for-13 from the floor.
C Christian Wood -10 Credits, 40.06 Projected Fantasy Points
Wood gets a great matchup against a Timberwolves team that is allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers. In a matchup of two woeful teams, the Rockets are live to win this game. If that’s the case, Wood will certainly have a hand in doing so.
After missing more than a month of game action, Wood is averaging 19.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game over his last five contests. This should be a competitive game, and Wood should see more minutes. Because of the Rockets’ dreadful season, there isn’t a huge sample size of competitive games. Looking at the last five Houston games, though, Wood played 36 minutes in a 2-point game; compare that to never exceeding 30 minutes in games that were decided by double digits.
