On tap for Tuesday is a six-game slate, and with 12 teams in action NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.
Boom/Bust NBA Daily Fantasy Projections & Picks
Boom: Josh Hart: $6,300 DraftKings/$6,800
30.5% DraftKings Boom/18.5% FanDuel Boom
Hart returns tonight from a one-game absence due to contact tracing, and he is an excellent mid-tier target, particularly at only $6,300 on DraftKings. Hart is averaging 38 DraftKings points in 37 minutes per game across his last 10 starts, including five double-doubles. Hart is producing 0.94 DraftKings points per minute this season and should be in line for 35 to 40 minutes in this small 3.5-point spread against the Timberwolves. In addition to the tight spread, this game presents the highest total on the slate (227 points) and the Pelicans boast the fourth highest implied team total on the board (111.75 points).
Compared to the Pelicans, who rank 22nd in pace, the Wolves are the fifth fastest team in the league and in totals of 225 points or greater this season, Hart has supplied 35.75 DraftKings points per game. He recorded 37.75 DraftKings points against this same Minnesota club back in November and is a sharp way to attack the best game environment of the night. In Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool Hart has a top-three boom score on the slate for DraftKings.
Boom: Montrezl Harrell: $4,700 DraftKings/$4,900 FanDuel
30.9% DraftKings Boom/28.4% FanDuel Boom
After missing the past seven games due to health protocols, Harrell will make his return tonight against the Thunder. With a 21.4% usage rate, Harrell is providing 1.15 DraftKings points per minute this season, and this is a nice spot since Oklahoma City is giving up the second-most rebounds in the NBA. The Wizards have the fourth-highest implied team total on the slate (111.75 points), and when Harrell has played behind an implied team total of at least 110 points this season, he has generated 31.4 DraftKings points per game.
With this slate lacking clear value plays, utilizing Harrell at these affordable price tags on both DraftKings and FanDuel is a necessary move for all formats. For both sites, he is a top-three value in Awesemo’s projections.
Boom: Lonzo Ball: $6,800 DraftKings/$7,100 FanDuel
14% DraftKings Boom/13% FanDuel Boom
Ball is an appealing way to gain exposure to the Bulls and their slate-high implied team total against the Pistons (116.75 points). Alex Caruso (health protocols) will remain out, and when he has been off the court this season, Ball has produced 1 DraftKings points per minute and a 22.2% assist rate, which is 2.3-percentage-point upgrade from his season average. Detroit ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency and ninth in pace, and they are playing their second game in two nights.
On top of their slate-best implied team total, this matchup’s total is the fourth highest on the slate (220 points). Ball has contributed 39.1 DraftKings points per game in his eight games with totals of at least 220 points since joining the Bulls At his reasonable price tags, Ball is the most optimal way to gain a share of the Bulls tonight and should not be overly popular in GPPs.

Bust: Bradley Beal: $9,500 DraftKings/$9,500 FanDuel
55.4% DraftKings Bust/61.4% FanDuel Bust
With the Wizards all of the sudden back to full strength, Beal is overpriced on both DraftKings and FanDuel. After going on a tear with Spencer Dinwiddie (health protocols) sidelined, Beal has only supplied 39.9 DraftKings points per game in these past two since Dinwiddie returned. Now matters get even worse with Harrell back in the lineup.
When Beal has had to share the floor with both Dinwiddie and Harrell this season, his fantasy production has dropped from 1.14 to 0.95 DraftKings points per minute. On BetMGM Beal’s props are set at 24.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds. Before defensive stats and bonuses, this is only 38 fantasy points and well under 5x value for Beal on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Update: Beal has ruled out due to health protocols. Instantly, this makes Spencer Dinwiddie one of the best targets on the slate. In the six starts he has made without Beal this season, Dinwiddie has been a stud with 49 DraftKings points per game.Â
