NBA Fantasy: Boom Bust Tool Projections for DraftKings + FanDuel Lineups | Today 11/3

On tap for Wednesday night is massive 11-game slate. With 22 clubs competing, NBA fantasy lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel will be flush with high-level talent and value plays. The Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page will provide breaking news when starters are announced as well as a full injury report on players who might be missing in action. Below are some NBA daily fantasy options that stand out for tonight’s slate using Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool and NBA DFS projections.

NBA Fantasy Projections & Optimal Lineup Picks Tonight

Boom: Svi Mykhailiuk: $3,700 DraftKings/$4,500 FanDuel

41.1% DraftKings Boom/19.6% FanDuel Boom

Starting in place of the injured Scottie Barnes (thumb) on Monday, Mykhailiuk recorded 33.75 DraftKings points across 34.5 minutes in a difficult matchup against the Knicks. He is shooting a team-best 56.4% from the field and has provided 0.95 DraftKings points per minute this season. Coming off the strong effort in the win over New York, Mykhailiuk will remain a starter with Barnes inactive again against the Wizards tonight. Washington ranks fourth in pace, and Mykhailiuk averages 27.8 DraftKings points per game when he has logged a minimum of 25 minutes over the last two seasons. At only $3,700 on DraftKings, Mykhailiuk is not only rating as the strongest value on the board, but he also boasts the highest boom rating for this massive slate.

Boom: Jonas Valanciunas: $8,500 DraftKings/$8,800 FanDuel

31.1% DraftKings Boom/23.1% FanDuel Boom

With Brandon Ingram (hip) doubtful tonight, Valanciunas needs to be a core play. He has topped 50 DraftKings points in these past two with Ingram sidelined and is scoring 1.46 DraftKings points per minute with Ingram off the floor, thanks to a 4.9-percentage-point increase to his usage rate. Valanciunas has also seen a 2.7-percentage-point boost to his rebound rate with Ingram missing, and tonight’s matchup with the Kings is a dream spot for centers.

Sacramento ranks ninth in pace and 24th in defensive efficiency. Furthermore, they have given up the third-most points in the paint and the fourth-most rebounds, and this game’s total is the third highest on the slate (219.5 points). This past Friday night, Valanciunas bullied this same Kings defense for a huge double-double worth 49.25 DraftKings points, and tonight he is the best point-per-dollar value above $8,000 on DraftKings according to Awesemo’s projections.

Update: Ingram is now being listed as questionable for tonight. Even if the forward is active, Valanciunas is still a terrific target given the strength of this matchup.

Boom: Malik Beasley: $4,100 DraftKings/$4,400 FanDuel

30.6% DraftKings Boom/18.5% FanDuel Boom

The Timberwolves will be without D’Angelo Russell (ankle) tonight, opening the door for Beasley to see an expanded role. With Russell only available for 16.6 minutes Monday, Beasley logged a season-high 32.3 minutes off the bench and tallied 24 DraftKings points against the Magic. In the 74 minutes he has played without Russell this season, Beasley has received a 4.4-percentage-point upgrade to his usage and has generated 0.91 DraftKings points per minute. Additionally, in the 17 games Russell missed a year ago, Beasley averaged 27.7 DraftKings points per game. Awesemo’s projections forecast him for 28.2 minutes tonight against the Clippers, which is more than enough time for Beasley to out-produce his current price points.

Boom: Joel Embiid: $10,300 DraftKings/$9.700 FanDuel

19.1% DraftKings Boom/24.8% FanDuel Boom

The 76ers will be missing Tobias Harris (health protocols), Danny Green (hamstring) and Ben Simmons (personal). However, they will be getting Embiid back after he was rested Monday. Since the start of the last season, Embiid has seen a jaw-dropping 46.6% usage rate and scored an absurd 2.1 DraftKings points per minute with these three players off the court. Given that Embiid has not played in four days and the Sixers are only 2-point home favorites against the Bulls, Embiid should be in line for 30 to 35 minutes tonight. For his career, Embiid is 3 DraftKings points per game better on his home floor, and regardless of the Bulls being a top-10 defense, no player brings a higher ceiling than Embiid this evening.
