Under new head coach Ime Udoka, no team in the NBA has played at a faster pace or allowed more rebounds than Boston this season. Furthermore, they are yielding the seventh-most points in the paint, and Vegas gives the Heat the fourth-highest implied team total on the slate (110.5 points). Adebayo’s salary on FanDuel is close to correct, but at only $8,100 on DraftKings, he has a top-five boom score and is rating as the best value above $7,000 for Thursday night.

Boom: Josh Giddey: $5,800 DraftKings/$6,000 FanDuel

Giddey has had an impressive start to his NBA career and is simply underpriced on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Through his first seven games, Giddey has posted a 19.6% usage rate and led the Thunder with a 33.6% assist percentage. He is averaging 1.1 DraftKings points per minute and will be playing way up in pace tonight against the Lakers. Los Angeles is the second-fastest team in the league, compared to the Thunder, who are the 10th-slowest. Last Wednesday Giddey finished with 38 DraftKings points across 32 minutes against these Lakers. He is a top-five value for both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight, making him an excellent target for all formats.

Boom: Rudy Gobert: $8,600 DraftKings/$8,200 FanDuel

Competing in the top game environment of the night, Gobert is standing out as one of the best expensive options on the board. Tonight’s matchup against the Hawks carries the highest total on the slate (220 points), and the Jazz’s implied team total is the third highest (111 points). Plus, Utah is only favored by 2 points, which is the tightest spread of this five-game slate. This season Gobert has been excellent, providing 1.4 DraftKings points per minute.

He is averaging an incredible 4.7 steals/blocks per game in his last three, and this Hawks defense Gobert is facing ranks 24th in efficiency. Over the last two seasons, Gobert has scored over 40 DraftKings points 55% of the time he has played in a total of at least 220 points, and he is averaging 42.3 DraftKings points per game in spreads under 3.

Boom: Russell Westbrook: $10,700 DraftKings/$9,200 FanDuel

LeBron James (abdominal) will be inactive, putting Westbrook in a godly role. When James has been off the floor, Westbrook’s usage and assists rate have skyrocketed 6.3 and 9.7 percentage points, respectively. The former MVP scores 1.5 DraftKings points per minute in this situation and has generated 61.75 DraftKings PPG in the pair of contests James has missed this season. One of which was a 59.5 DraftKings points effort against Westbrook’s former team in the Thunder, who he will face again tonight.

Westbrook is a great building block on both sites tonight, but at only $9,200 on FanDuel, the point guard is a value that can’t be ignored.
