Boom/Bust NBA Fantasy Projections | Feb. 27
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Boom Candidates
James Harden vs. Mavericks: $11,000/$10,900
36.8% DraftKings Boom/45.8% FanDuel Boom
With no Kevin Durant available for the Nets, James Harden has been leading this team in a very similar way to what he did in Houston. He has double-digit assist totals in five of his past seven games, and Harden has had 29+ points in four of has past six. With clear triple-double upside, especially in a game that figures to be competitive, Harden needs to be viewed as one of the top plays on the entire slate, and his price isn’t unreasonable, yet.
Russell Westbrook vs. Timberwolves: $9,900/$9,400
36.6% DraftKings Boom/52.9% FanDuel Boom
Russell Westbrook has turned it up a notch as of late. He has been playing high minutes and shooting more, leading to all of the NBA fantasy goodness that we know him for. Westbrook has eclipsed value in three of his last four games. With him having high-point triple-double upside, especially against a weak team like the Timberwolves, he has one of the highest potentials to “boom” on the entire slate.

Anthony Edwards vs. Wizards: $6,300/$6,000
21.5% DraftKings Boom/34.3% FanDuel Boom
The star rookie will be thrust into an even large role tonight, following the news of Malik Beasley getting suspended. With both him and D’Angelo Russell out, there is a lot of usage and scoring up for grabs in the backcourt, and Anthony Edwards should take advantage. Edwards put up 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists last game. At a mid-tier price, the rookie has high boom potential.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates
Jeremy Lamb vs. Knicks: $4,600/$4,700
77.1% DraftKings Bust/66.8% FanDuel Bust
After seeing his minutes creep towards 30, the Pacers have shortened Jeremy Lamb’s floor time lately. He has seen less than 20 minutes in back-to-back games and three of his past five games. At his current price, this is not enough time to hit value. Lamb averages less than one NBA fantasy point per minute.
