DeAndre’ Bembry vs. Lakers: $3,000 DraftKings/$3,700 FanDuel

28.5% DraftKings Boom/24.7% FanDuel Boom

The Raptors unexpectedly changed their starting lineup shortly before last night’s game. With Fred VanVleet out, reports indicated that Malachi Flynn would start in his place. Instead, Bembry ended up getting announced as a starter just prior to the game. Both Flynn and Bembry played well, making both of them good plays tonight since VanVleet is sitting out again. Of the two, prioritize Bembry a bit more since he’s cheaper and has a higher minutes floor as the expected starter. Flynn is the higher priority play if he’s in the starting unit.

Robert Williams vs. 76ers: $6,800 DraftKings/$7,300 FanDuel

25.7% DraftKings Boom/39.1% FanDuel Boom

Williams is slowly getting priced up, but it isn’t enough based on his recent production. He has taken ahold of the center minutes, and it’s hard to see the Celtics going back to Tristan Thompson in the starting lineup once he gets healthy. As a starter Williams is averaging 38.9 DraftKings points in just 27.3 minutes per game. Boston has shown a willingness to play him over 30 minutes although each of his last two games are blowouts. Williams’ playing time is on the rise, and he’s one of the stronger per-minute fantasy producers in the league.

Pascal Siakam vs. Lakers: $8,200 DraftKings/$8,700 FanDuel

25.8% DraftKings Boom/30.6% FanDuel Boom

Not only is VanVleet out for the Raptors, Kyle Lowry also remains out. When also considering that Norman Powell was traded at the deadline, there is a bunch of usage up for grabs in the Raptors’ offense. It stands to reason that Siakam will shoulder most of that burden until this team is healthy again. With Toronto banged up in the last couple of games, Siakam has a usage rate approaching 30% while still averaging four assists per game. He has to do everything for the Raptors at the moment. It is assumed that Toronto is tanking, but this is not the case quite yet. The Raptors are only one game out of the final spot in the play-in tournament.

NBA Fantasy Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates

Clint Capela vs. Pelicans: $8,600 DraftKings/$9,900 FanDuel

71.9% DraftKings Bust/76.9% FanDuel Bust

Capela is going nuts since John Collins got injured. In the last five games he is averaging over 20 points and 15 rebounds per game. The issue is that his price has caught up. Capela is now super expensive, and the center position is loaded with strong options today. Capela needs to score over 50 fantasy points to pay off, and that isn’t the most likely result. He is still projected for around 10% ownership, which is much too high when considering this is about as expensive as he has been.
