DraftKings + FanDuel Boom/Bust Projections | April 7

NBA Fantasy Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Boom Candidates

Goga Bitadze vs. Timberwolves: $3,000 DraftKings/$3,900 FanDuel

63.6% DraftKings Boom/57.6% FanDuel Boom

The Pacers’ frontcourt is in dire straits. The situation was bad enough when Domantas Sabonis got hurt, and then Myles Turner got injured during last night’s game. Sabonis is expected to sit tonight, and it looks like Turner will have to miss a few games because of a sprained ankle. This leaves Bitadze as the likely starting center. He should start, with JaKarr Sampson playing the backup center minutes. Due to his price, Bitadze is the best value play on the slate — though, he likely will come with some ownership (currently projected for 16.2). He averages over a fantasy point per minute and could approach 30 minutes tonight with Indiana shorthanded.

Russell Westbrook vs. Magic: $11,100 DraftKings/$11,000 FanDuel

19.8% DraftKings Boom/27.1% FanDuel Boom

The Wizards’ slim hopes to make the playoffs are fading away. Westbrook is doing the best he can to carry this team, but it’s a tough ask. Bradley Beal and Rui Hachimura remain questionable, and Westbrook will continue to do everything for Washington if they remain out. Nobody is a safer fantasy option as of late, and Westbrook has over 50 fantasy points in seven consecutive games, which includes five triple-doubles in his last six games. Westbrook is the top pay-up option on the slate as of now (projecting for 56.49 DraftKings points), and he will become a must-roster player in cash games if Beal is ruled out again.

Miles Bridges vs. Thunder: $5,000 DraftKings/$5,800 FanDuel

32% DraftKings Boom/24.3% FanDuel Boom

The Hornets are getting crushed by injuries down the stretch of the season. They seemed like a surefire playoff team, but that is now up in the air since LaMelo Ball, Malik Monk and Gordon Hayward are all dealing with long-term injuries. With all three of them out last game, Bridges ended up moving into the starting lineup and playing 31 minutes. There is also reason to think he could play more tonight. Charlotte lost its last game by 30 points, and Bridges likely would have seen more playing time if the game had been more competitive. Bridges sits atop Awesemo’s ownership projections as the No. 1-owned player for tonight’s slate.

NBA Fantasy Picks: DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates

Devin Booker vs. Jazz: $9,300 DraftKings/$9,000 FanDuel

82.7% DraftKings Bust/71.1% FanDuel Bust

This is not the best time for Booker to get his highest salary of the season. The Suns are rolling as Booker and Chris Paul‘s chemistry develops throughout the season, but this is a very steep price tag. Booker is getting a premium price tag in a tough matchup against the Jazz. Gamers are going to need players to pay up for with all the value opening up on this slate, but there are better spots than Booker against Utah.
