We’re down to the last couple days of the NBA regular season and, as shown by yesterday’s slate, fantasy values could get crazy with veterans sitting out or seeing their minutes limited. The Awesemo Boom vs. Bust Tool and NBA fantasy projections will help you navigate the range of outcomes for daily fantasy basketball picks today. The following are some of the best picks on DraftKings and FanDuel based on their probabilities of booming or busting.

Boom/Bust NBA Fantasy Projections | May 15
NBA DraftKings + FanDuel Boom Candidates
Jayson Tatum vs. Timberwolves: $9,800/$9,700
31.7% DraftKings Boom/41.6% FanDuel Boom
This is a great opportunity for a big performance for Jayson Tatum. Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Robert Williams and Tristan Thompson are all ruled out, while Tatum is currently listed as probable. Assuming he does play, he should be able to put up as many shots as he’d like against a bottom-five defense in the NBA. This also appeared to be the case the last time Tatum faced the Timberwolves, as he put up 53 points on 25 shot attempts and 16 free throws.
Drew Eubanks vs. Suns: $3,100/$3,500
47.7% DraftKings Boom/48.2% FanDuel Boom
With the Spurs locking up the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference, they are sitting a few of their veterans today. One of these players is Jakob Poeltl, which means Drew Eubanks should slide back into the starting lineup. Luckily, we have a great comparison to today, as Eubanks started last month against the Suns, playing 28 minutes. It led to a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double, along with two steals and a block. He averages over one NBA fantasy point per minute this season, and Awesemo’s NBA DFS projections have him for 23 minutes in this matchup. Clearly, the path is there for even more minutes.

Evan Fournier vs. Timberwolves: $6,200/$7,100
33.6% DraftKings Boom/24.4% FanDuel Boom
We discussed above the long list of inactive Celtics today. Along with Tatum, Evan Fournier is also listed as probable and should enjoy a good fantasy day. Fournier should be one of the main facilitator’s for Boston today, racking up assists. He has put up eight assists in two of his last three outings. Aside from that, he could also approach 20 shot attempts, as he did last game. While Fournier is clearly a better play over at DraftKings, he is in play for both sites.
NBA DraftKings + FanDuel Bust Candidates
T.J. McConnell vs. Lakers: $6,600/$6,500
91.6% DraftKings Bust/78.1% FanDuel Bust
T.J. McConnell is coming off a game in which he set a new career-high in points. While this was only 23 points, it still led to a great NBA fantasy day. This also came right after three duds for fantasy owners. It made a price jump for today’s game. It rarely is a good thing to play someone following a career-high performance, and McConnell is no exception here, due to his inflated price.
