PF Torrey Craig — Grades: D, D | Values: A, A

The Pacers got a huge win last night against the Lakers 111-104, but unfortunately they likely lost Domantas Sabonis for the foreseeable future to an ankle injury. They are already playing without Myles Turner who is also out due to injury. That will open up the door for Torrey Craig who Awesemo projects to be the second-best value play on FanDuel tonight. Craig played 31 minutes last game and finished with 8 points, 13 rebounds, and 28.3 DraftKings points.

With a 103-point implied total against the best defense in the league, options for the Pacers will be limited. Their injury situation needs to be monitored, but Craig’s price makes any blowout concern irrelevant. The Warriors lead the league in defensive rating and have only allowed their opponents to score 101.6 points per game. They also allow only a league-best 42.8% field goal percentage, which is ridiculous. The matchup is brutal, but Craig provides value tonight.

PF Jonathan Kuminga — Grades: C, C | Values: A, D

Starting for the Warriors moving forward in place of Draymond Green will be rookie Jonathan Kuminga. In his last game starting, Kuminga had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes. He has shown elite athletic ability and will be a threat to get another double-double tonight, as the Pacers are without Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis. Kuminga has been fantastic lately. Over his last five games, he is averaging 16.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. During that time he is averaging 29.9 DraftKings points while playing 24.6 minutes per game.

The Warriors are 11-point home favorites against a very depleted Pacers team. Regardless of the blowout, Kuminga is going to get playing time. That was proven last game, even when he starts. Not only is Green out, but forward Otto Porter is also out tonight, solidifying the minutes for Kuminga. There is plenty of rebounding upside in this matchup without Turner and Sabonis. Kuminga could flirt with another double-double. His price is much more favorable on DraftKings than FanDuel, which is why he has the third-highest boom percentage. Kuminga is another great value option.

C JaVale McGee — Grades: C, C | Values: A, A

Who knew that deciding between JaVale McGee and Bismack Biyombo was going to be one of the biggest decisions on the slate tonight? McGee started last game and had 6 points and eight rebounds but was outperformed by Biyombo, who dominated with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 39 DraftKings points. Make sure to monitor the starting lineup, but Awesemo projects McGee to remain in the starting lineup to replace Deandre Ayton.

The Mavericks have been incredible defensively lately. It certainly helps that they play at the second-slowest pace in the league, but they rank fourth this season in defensive rating and have only allowed 102.6 points per game. They still struggle against opposing centers because they simply do not have the size, especially rebounding the ball. The Mavericks allow 35.1 defensive rebounds per game, which ranks 21st in the league. McGee has shown massive upside when starting, and Awesemo’s Boom/Bust Tool has McGee with the highest boom percentage on both sites tonight.

PG Luka Doncic — Grades: A, A | Values: C, D

There is so much value on this slate — what to do with the extra savings? The answer is pay up for Luka Doncic. Doncic is coming off of back-to-back great games. He is averaging 30.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists in his last two. During that time he is averaging 69.9 DraftKings points while playing 40.5 minutes per game. Awesemo projects Doncic to score the most fantasy points on both sites tonight.

This matchup against the Suns is quite difficult. They rank second in defensive rating this season, and they have allowed opponents to shoot only 43.6% from the field, which is also second-best to the Warriors. The Mavericks are 3-point home underdogs in an up-tempo spot against the Suns, who rank sixth in pace. Doncic is playing at an elite level right now, and with all of the value on the slate, he should be relatively easy to get to.

PF Julius Randle — Grades: A, B | Values: C, B

Another really solid spend-up option tonight is Julius Randle. Over the last four games, Randle has shown what he provided last season that led to his huge upside: Being the main facilitator. Randle has had eight or more assists in three of his last four games. Pair that with averaging a double-double on 18.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, and Randle pops as one of the best options.

Despite this game total being by far the lowest on the slate at 209.5 points, getting to the best piece on the Knicks as 4-point home favorites seems relevant. The Pelicans present the best matchup tonight. They rank 23rd in defensive rating and have allowed their opponents to shoot 46.9% from the field, which is tied for the third best in the league. Randle has shown upside recently, and the field has noticed. Per Awesemo’s ownership projections, Randle is the highest-owned player on FanDuel and the fifth highest on DraftKings tonight.
