There are two NBA playoff series today that are going differently than most people would expect. Much of this surprise is due to injuries to key players, but the added pressure of the postseason is also affecting play, making DFS NBA picks and lineups may be trickier than earlier in the season. If looking for a different way to play NBA fantasy contests during the NBA playoffs, PrizePicks could be a site that interests you. Instead of building lineups of players, at PrizePicks you are making predictions on player stats or fantasy points, with more correct predictions meaning higher payouts.
PrizePicks provides a big list of stats and fantasy points, and you are able to pick and choose which you want to make a prediction for. Stringing together a few picks can pay out up to 10 times your entry fee. You are even able to combine picks across different sports. The only rule is you must make picks for players on at least two different teams.
For the sake of this article, we will take you through four of the best NBA fantasy PrizePicks predictions to make for the NBA Playoffs Round 2 games today.
PrizePicks NBA Fantasy | Playoffs Round 2
It is important to note that, much like odds that update throughout the day, the player totals at PrizePicks are subject to change. So if you like these NBA picks below, it’s wise to jump on them quickly.
Clint Capela: Over 28.5 NBA Fantasy Points
PrizePicks uses the same NBA fantasy scoring format as FanDuel, so when Awesemo’s projections have something completely different than PrizePicks is showing, it raises an eyebrow. The biggest example of this is Clint Capela, who Awesemo projects for over 35 fantasy points. While Capela struggled last game, he went for over 30 in both of the games prior. He should return to that form in Atlanta.
Royce O’Neale: Over 1.5 Made 3’s
Royce O’Neale has played his role perfectly in the playoffs, playing defense, rebounding the ball and hitting open 3’s. Obviously, the focus for the defense is on Donovan Mitchell, and rightfully so. However, Mitchell is talented enough to take on the added defensive pressure then find the open shooter, which he has proven all postseason long. This has led to O’Neale hitting two or more 3-point shots in seven of his last nine games. He should do it again today.

Terance Mann: Over 0.5 Made 3’s
With Kawhi Leonard out, Terance Mann got the start for the Clippers and played 26 minutes. Mann has hit at least one shot from 3-point range in each of the past five games he has played at least 20 minutes. With Leonard out again today, Mann should have no problem playing 20 minutes. He should also take several shots from downtown, and one is bound to fall in.
Joel Embiid: Over 3.5 Assists
The Hawks are determined to not let Embiid beat them by himself. As he gets the ball down low, the defense collapses and Embiid finds the open shooter. For this reason, 3-point picks for players like Seth Curry or Furkan Korkmaz are also good since they should naturally see open 3-point looks. Embiid totaled eight, four and five assists in Games 3, 4 and 5, respectively, meaning he has gone over this assist total in four of the five games this series.
