NBA Picks: The Prop Report Presented by No House Advantage | 9/11

Welcome to the Prop Report presented by No House Advantage! For those new to the site, NHA is a fantasy sports app that offers prop-based contests across multiple sports. Simply pick your five favorite player props for a given slate, rank them five (most confident) through one (least confident) and receive those points for each prop that hits. The best part? Instead of facing a house advantage on props like you would with a sportsbook, No House Advantage has purely peer-to-peer contests with big cash prizes. Sign up here or download the app from the App Store to get started. I’m going to give you the three NBA picks I have my eye on for you to utilize in your three-, four- and five-point confidence slots on Friday’s two-game slate.

Pascal Siakam — OVER 6.5 Rebounds

For every single Raptors game of this series I’ve been on this prop, and here we are again today. The reasoning is simple: Siakam gets a ton of minutes, and now more than half of them are being played at the five of a small-ball lineup. An over/under on 6.5 would be a solid line in a regular game in a regular spot, but this is way too low for a Game 7. I’m projecting him to play 42 minutes in. Add in the lack of height on the Celtics interior (Jayson Tatum, Daniel Theis and Robert Williams are all 6-foot-8), and Siakam should have ample opportunity to smash the over this rebounding mark tonight.

Kyle Lowry — OVER 2.5 3-Pointers Made

I’ve been in a habit of betting the 1.5 over for Nikola Jokic, which he has now done in three consecutive games. I don’t mind that prop still, but I’m jumping ship for the security of 3-point shot attempts that should be there for Lowry in this one. If you throw out the one blowout from this series, Lowry has taken nearly seven 3-pointers per game. I expect a heavy dose of attempts for him tonight, and seeing as he’s been the engine behind the Raptors’ comeback in this series, I’m willing to bank on a big game from distance for him in Game 7.

Montrezl Harrell — UNDER 11.5 Points

I shorted Michael Porter Jr.’s points prop on Wednesday, only to lose it in the first half. Considering he also received 34 minutes in that outing, I don’t want any part of that smoke again today. I’ve chosen attack Harrell’s under on points instead, another overachiever considering the limited minutes he’s been playing. Harrell is starting to look more like the Sixth Man of the Year he was pre-bubble, averaging 12.75 points per game in this series. But that number is inflated from extra run he received due to Ivica Zubac foul trouble in Game 3. Barring a similar situation here in Game 5, I expect Zubac to play the lion’s share of minutes at the five for the Clippers. This leaves Harrell with around 18-20 minutes tops. He can certainly be active enough in that time to get there, but the odds aren’t in his favor.
