Trey Burke
Trey Burke has averaged over a fantasy point per minute and with his new starting role, his minutes should be on the rise. His production and the pace-up matchup versus the Hornets seem like a great recipe for a successful night, albeit one where he should have a lot of ownership with his recent success.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (FanDuel)
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is getting almost 40 minutes a game with the Lakers seriously suffering from wing depth issues with all of their injuries. The fact that he’s getting so many minutes while also playing at a weak position on FanDuel make him a good place to look on this tight slate.
Al Horford (DraftKings)
Al Horford is in a great matchup and at one of his best prices for the season. Marcus Morris being ruled out would have made him an even more compelling play but in a pace-up matchup versus the defensively lacking Suns, Horford has a shot to exceed value in a way he hasn’t done much lately.
Blake Griffin (FanDuel)
There’s no reason to expect any tanking for the Pistons to start tonight based on coach Stan Van Gundy’s history and the matchup versus the Lakers plays right into Blake Griffin’s hands. As mentioned above, Griffin and the Pistons will get a big pace-up versus the Lakers and the high Vegas total means production to go around. His lower price on FanDuel makes him more compelling there than DraftKings.
Marquese Chriss
Marquese Chriss’s price hasn’t adjusted to his new starting role and that alone means a good opportunity to capitalize from a value standpoint. Chriss looks like a better play on DraftKings because of price and lineup construction although he’s playable on both sites.
