Friday, November 20th

Zach Ertz, TE | Philadelphia Eagles (Ankle): The Eagles designated Zach for return from I.R. during the early portion of the week. Head coach Doug Pederson stated Friday morning that Ertz needs more time before returning to the team’s active roster. Dallas Goedert will start in place of Ertz for another week and carry TE2 status heading into a week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

D’Andre Swift, RB | Detroit Lions (Concussion): Swift was a full participant at practice for the Lions on Wednesday. Mysteriously the Lions placed Swift into the league’s concussion protocol on Thursday.  It’s unknown when Deandre sustained the injury. Detroit will deploy the veteran running back Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson in week 11. (update): Officially ruled out

Kenny Golladay, WR | Detroit Lions (Hip): Kenny G was a nonparticipant at practice for the Lions on Friday. It’s only a matter of time before the Lions rule Golladay out. Danny Amendola was also a no show for Lions practice on Friday.  Marvin JonesMarvin Hall, and  Quinton Cephus will play roles in the Lions passing game in week 11.

Allen Lazard, WR | Green Bay Packers (Core): Lazard practiced for the Packers on a limited basis Wednesday and Thursday. He’s trending in the right direction which is good news for season-long fantasy owners that stashed Lazard once he went on the team’s I.R. Packers coach Matt LaFleur noted earlier in the week that Lazard would be eased back into the offense once officially cleared. Lazard will be a dicey WR4 in week 11.

Davante Adams, WR | Green Bay Packers (Ankle): A video surfaced Friday afternoon of Adams catching passes at practice and he looks good. Unless we heard something, we could expect to see Adams suit up for week 11 when the Packers Indianapolis Colts.

Joe Mixon, RB | Cincinnati Bengals (Foot): Mixon will not play in week 11. I was hoping you could read below to see my thoughts on this situation.

Calvin Ridley, WR | Atlanta Falcons (Foot): The Falcons released their injury report on Friday, and Ridley’s name wasn’t on it. It looks like the Falcons receiver is good to go for week 11 when the Atlanta Falcons face the New Orleans Saints.

I'm a wannabe athlete whose athletic career ended after a long tenure riding the bench through JV baseball. The fantasy sports and sports betting degen side of me blossomed at age 12 when I found fantasy baseball and football, and led to a 12-year submergence into the poker scene -- I started playing "secret" cash games in my parents' basements by age 14. Luckily, I've finally found what I love to do -- write about "fake sports," which my girlfriend refers to it as, though it only took me until age 30. If you decide you like the words I write and follow me on Twitter (@nd_joyce), I apologize in advance for the copious amounts of dog photos you will see.
