Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the Lions vs. Packers Monday Night Football matchup, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: Week 2 MNF NFL Picks
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Monday Night Football
Aaron Jones — RB — Green Bay Packers
The Packers offensive line was terrible in Week 1 against the Saints. The easiest way to get an offensive line in rhythm and build their confidence is to run the ball, so the Packers should run the ball at least 30 times tonight. As such, it seems likely that Aaron Jones will have a monster game. Last week the top two running backs for the 49ers averaged 5.5 and 10 yards per carry. Jones is more talented than both and should be effective on the ground tonight. The last time Jones played the Lions in Lambeau he totaled 236 yards and three touchdowns. With Jock MKT ranking him fourth, he could become one of the better values tonight. Awesemo currently projects him to finish third on this slate.
Aaron Rodgers — QB — Green Bay Packers
Awesemo projects Aaron Rodgers to be the top overall scorer on this slate, and it is easy to see why. After last week’s embarrassment where he threw two interceptions without doing much of anything positive, he gets a get-right matchup here. Not only is this game in Lambeau Field, where he has been terrific for his career, the Lions defense is as bad as it gets. The poor secondary got worse last week after losing Jeff Okudah. Rodgers and Davante Adams should make up for lost time tonight. Rodgers being the top overall scorer would pay out $25 per share. With Jock MKT ranking him second, there could be some value here.
Jamaal Williams — RB — Detroit Lions
Jamaal Williams returns to Lambeau Field, but it is the first time he will be in the visiting locker room. He has been the pass-protecting running back over the past several years, he runs good routes, and he is a tough, downhill runner. Last week he ran for 54 yards and a touchdown while adding eight catches for 56 more yards. D’Andre Swift is questionable, so Williams could see an even larger role tonight. However, he will be an even better value if Swift is available to play. Jock MKT ranks Williams No. 13, which could lead to him being undervalued by the time the game begins. A rank of 13 pays out only $2 per share. Awesemo projects Williams to finish eighth in scoring tonight, which pays out $6 per share. If you’re interested in other NFL DFS news for multiple game slates, head over to DFS NFL projected ownership, Awesemo's NFL Data Central, NFL DFS rankings, and daily fantasy football stacking.
