If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS tonight, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real-time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we are going to review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the NFL Late Sunday Slate, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | NFL Late Sunday
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Late Sunday
Patrick Mahomes — QB — Kansas Chiefs
Awesemo projects Patrick Mahomes as the top value on this NFL Week 1 Late Sunday slate, and it is tough to argue. After being embarrassed in the Super Bowl, this entire Chiefs team has been itching to get back on the field. This is a team that looks very motivated again after looking disinterested much of the 2020 regular season. Add this in with playing in front of a packed Arrowhead crowd, plus the matchup with the Browns could prove to be an important one come December, and Mahomes will likely put together a big performance. If Mahomes does indeed finish as the top overall scorer, users will be rewarded with $25 per share. If he finishes second, this drops to $20.
Matthew Stafford — QB — Los Angeles Rams
Playing his first game for the Rams, Matthew Stafford should be motivated to show what he is capable of when he does not play for a terrible team. The first matchup is ideal, facing a team he is used to seeing twice a year. Awesemo projects Stafford to be the sixth-highest scorer on this slate, which would reward users $14 per share. Many users will be scared off by the matchup with the Bears given their reputation for tough defense. Still, Stafford has carved them up in the past, and this is a weaker version of this Bears defense than last season, especially in the secondary. They have a cornerback room that talented quarterbacks should be able to pick on.
Alvin Kamara — RB — New Orleans Saints
Kamara is an obvious play, but Jock MKT lists Kamara as just the seventh-highest projected player. Awesemo projects Kamara to be the third-highest scoring player on the slate, so there is value here. Kamara faces a Packers defense that he completely destroyed last season, running for 58 yards and catching 13 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns. The Saints are without Michael Thomas and Tre’Quan Smith, and they recently cut Latavius Murray. Finally, Adam Trautman may be a bit limited, after missing time with injury. This is going to be a heavy Kamara game. If he does finish third, it pays out $18 per share.Looking for more NFL DFS picks content?
