If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS tonight, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we are going to review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the NFL Sunday Night Market slate, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT NFL Starter Kit | Week 9 Sunday Night Football
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Sunday Night Football
Matthew Stafford — QB — Los Angeles Rams
One of the best quarterbacks of the season has been Matthew Stafford, after escaping from Detroit. Sean McVay has been able to call plays he would only dream of a season ago, and most of these plays have seemingly been for Cooper Kupp, who has been unbelievable during the first half of this season. The Titans rank 10th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, and it’s clear passing is the best way to attack their defense. As proven by the Rams’ domination over the Texans last week, there is no game script where Stafford will stop passing.
Jock MKT ranks Stafford second behind Kupp, and Awesemo projects him exactly the same. However, if Stafford locks onto a different receiver more than Kupp tonight, we could easily see Stafford as the top overall scorer on the Jock MKT slate, which would pay out $25 per share. It’s important to remember Kupp needs Stafford to be successful, but Stafford can be successful in other ways.
Robert Woods — WR — Los Angeles Rams
Speaking of other ways, Robert Woods is a really good wide receiver, which people seem to have forgotten due to how great Kupp has been. However, if the Titans commit extra attention Kupp’s way, Woods will make the Titans pay tonight. Tennessee has also struggled to defend the pass this season, allowing a league-high 216 receiving yards to wide receivers per game. Where Woods is valued, he could outperform regardless of what Kupp does. However, if Woods is the top option tonight, he could return a nice profit.
Jock MKT ranks Woods sixth, but Awesemo projects him to finish fifth, which would pay out $10 per share. However, it’s clear Woods has the upside to finish even higher. Kupp is the top projected player for a reason. If something were to happen to him, there’s an avenue where Woods could be among the top scorers tonight.
Julio Jones — WR — Tennessee Titans
Jock MKT ranks Julio Jones eighth on the slate while Awesemo projects him to finish ninth, which would pay out $5 per share. However, it’s easy to picture a scenario where he outperforms his projections and returns a nice profit.
Yes, Derrick Henry is out for the Titans. Tennessee will still run the football and force the Rams defense to play honest. They have the playmakers on the backend to successfully defend the pass while also bringing pressure. However, where Jalen Ramsey goes tonight will be interesting. The Rams may keep him on a side early on, since both Jones and A.J. Brown are both big threats. However, Brown has been better and healthier, so they also could put Ramsey on him. If this is the case, look for Julio to make the Rams play. He still has some gas left in the tank, and all he needs is one play to return value.
