If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS on Sunday, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real-time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we will review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 12, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Week 12
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 12
Lamar Jackson — QB — Baltimore Ravens
After missing last week with an illness, Lamar Jackson is back in the lineup for the Ravens. Look for him to make a statement this week, proving to everyone that he deserves to be in the conversation for his second MVP. He has an important divisional matchup with the Browns, as he looks to extend Baltimore’s lead atop the AFC North. With Cleveland getting healthier this week, it will take a big performance from Jackson for the Ravens to get a win. Across five starts against the Browns, Jackson has thrown interceptions in only one game. He also has rushed for over 100 yards in two of his last three games against them.
Jock MKT ranks Jackson third on this slate, but Awesemo’s projections expect Jackson to be the top overall player. If this happens, each Jackson share would pay out $25. Awesemo projects his value to be at $10.26, so this would be a nice bit of profit.
Jonathan Taylor — RB — Indianapolis Colts
It’s a tough matchup this week for Jonathan Taylor, who faces off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers have allowed 56.2 rushing yards per game to running backs and have allowed only four rushing touchdowns to the position all season long. Taylor had more touchdowns than that last week alone, scoring five against the Bills. The Colts’ offensive line and Taylor are talented enough to have some success against Tampa. Don’t expect him to run wild like last week, but he should find a little success on the ground and also be utilized through the air. He is too talented to not touch the ball in this game. Jock MKT ranks Taylor 10th on this slate, which would pay out only $11. Awesemo, on the other hand, projects Taylor to finish fourth overall, which would pay $16 per share. The matchup should help keep his price relatively low, and we clearly know how much upside he has.

Cam Newton — QB — Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton made his first start of the season last week. While there are plenty of critiques on how good his arm is, you cannot question how good he is for fantasy, possessing the ability to score in multiple ways. This week, he plays a bottom-10 fantasy quarterback defense in the Miami Dolphins. They have allowed teams to pass all over them this season. Given the weapons at Newton’s disposal, he should be next in line to have success against Miami. Jock MKT ranks him 13th on this slate, which would pay out only $9.50. Awesemo, on the other hand, projects Newton to finish 10th overall, which would pay $11 per share.
Newton looks like a great play in traditional NFL DFS formats as well, which Billy Ward wrote at length about in his Must-Play Week 12 NFL DFS Value Picks.
