The ultimate free guide to making your Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 5 with expert IPO projections | Josh Allen and Davante Adams.

If looking for a different way to play NFL DFS on Sunday, it is tough to find anything more unique than Jock MKT. NFL DFS becomes a stock exchange on this platform, allowing users to buy and sell in real-time for real money. To play, download the app here and get to trading. In this column, we will review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 5, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.

Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Week 5

To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.

The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.

Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.

Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 5

Josh Allen — QB — Buffalo Bills

In an exciting Sunday Night Football showdown, the Bills will look to avenge their AFC Championship Game loss against the Chiefs. The game has the highest implied total of the weekend (56), and both quarterbacks are expected to put up impressive performances. While Patrick Mahomes is the highest-ranked player on Jock MKT, Awesemo projects Josh Allen to be the highest-scoring player on the slate. The Chiefs defense has been terrible this season, allowing a league-worst 6.9 yards per play, and they have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Awesemo projects Allen’s value to be $10.96, which means he would need to finish 10th or higher to return a profit. However, if he finishes first like Awesemo’s projections believe, he will pay out $25 per share.

Davante Adams — WR — Green Bay Packers

Davante Adams has been relatively quiet to begin this season despite leading the league in receptions to begin the week. The Packers are falling apart around him, with the offensive line injured and the defense losing Jaire Alexander, their top player. Facing the Bengals, the Packers could give up quite a few points, leading to the offense needing to stay aggressive through all four quarters. Adams should see double-digit targets yet again, and he has a good chance to score a touchdown on Sunday. For these reasons, Awesemo projects Adams to be the fourth-highest scorer on this slate, which would pay out $16 per share. Jock MKT ranks Adams at ninth, so there is some upside.

James Robinson — RB — Jacksonville Jaguars

This is a play that could go under the radar on Jock MKT since they rank James Robinson 64th. However, Awesemo projects the Robinson to finish 11th on the slate. After starting the season in a shared workload, Robinson has proven the offense should run through him. Seeing a season-high 95% of the snaps last Thursday, Robinson was able to find the end zone twice and picked up 78 yards on the ground. He has 134 total yards in the game prior, proving to be a capable receiver as well. The coaching staff should realize there is no place for Carlos Hyde on the field, which would put the ball in Robinson’s hands more and take pressure off Trevor Lawrence.
