In this column, we will review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for NFL Week 6, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Week 6
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Week 6
Lamar Jackson — QB — Baltimore Ravens
Last week, we saw Lamar Jackson go off on Monday Night Football. We’re almost numb to his 62 rushing yards, but that is impressive. What was more impressive was his 442 yards and four touchdowns through the air, proving his is a true dual-threat quarterback. This week, he faces a Chargers defense that surrendered 42 points to a beat-up Browns offense.
Jock MKT ranks Jackson second in their rankings. However, Awesemo projects Jackson to be the top overall scorer and has a projected value of $12.64. If he does finish as the top scorer on the slate, as Awesemo projects, Jock MKT would pay out $25 per share.
Cooper Kupp — WR — Los Angeles Rams
Cooper Kupp has been a different kind of animal this season. He has a clear connection with Matthew Stafford, and Sean McVay has been calling plays specifically for him. Kupp has double-digit targets in every game this season. He also has 90-plus yards in all but one game this year. The Giants have been terrible against the pass this season, allowing a league-high 74.01% completion rate. Look for Kupp to continue taking advantage of his target share.
Jock MKT ranks Kupp all the way down at 21st, which would only pay $7.25 per share. However, Awesemo projects him to finish eighth and gives him a projected value of $8.25. The eighth-highest scorer on this slate would pay out $12 per share.
Najee Harris — RB — Pittsburgh Steelers
Speaking of a large workload, Najee Harris is in a position to showcase his talents to the world this week, playing on Sunday Night Football. He faces the Seahawks, who have already given up big running back performances. Seattle also doesn’t have Russell Wilson, which should lead to a positive game script for Harris.
The rookie running back has seen an average of 23.4 looks per game this season. This game could lead to an even greater workload. Yes, the game script should be positive. However, with JuJu Smith-Schuster lost for the season, Harris could be more involved in the passing game, as the top two Steelers wide receivers are more intermediate-to-deep threats and the Steelers need someone to work underneath.
Jock MKT ranks Harris all the way down at 23rd, which would only pay $6.84 per share. However, Awesemo projects him to finish eighth and gives him a projected value of $8.00. The sixth-highest scorer on this slate would pay out $14 per share.
