The obvious top overall play for this Thursday Night Football slate is Christian McCaffrey, who will be the best player that takes the field. He is a do-it-all running back that has looked fantastic through two weeks. McCaffrey is coming off a game with 137 total yards and a touchdown against a strong New Orleans Saints defense. Facing a lesser team tonight, he should be a human highlight reel on prime-time football.

David Johnson — RB — Houston Texans

After playing over 90% of the snaps last week, we should expect to see him on the field nearly all game, and it takes just one big catch for him to return a profit.
