Week 3 NFL DFS Expert Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel Lineups

Josh Engleman’s Expert Picks

There are a few guys I’m targeting as GPP plays for this coming Sunday. Van Jefferson looks like a solid value option at $3,400. K.J. Osborn is projected for twice as much ownership, so pivoting to Jefferson looks great in large-field contests. At RB, it seems to be that Antonio Gibson is a bit underowned. At $5,900, he works in any build, plus he’s less than 10% owned. He might just be my favorite play of the weekend relative to ownership.

Greg Ehrenberg’s Expert Picks

My initial builds suggest I am going to stack the passing attacks from the Rams-Bucs matchup pretty heavily. Matthew Stafford and Tom Brady came out as my two most-rostered quarterbacks in my first build. This came with Cooper Kupp, Chris Godwin and Van Jefferson grading out as my top three wide receivers.

Dave Loughran’s Expert Picks

I’m getting to a lot of Ram-Bucs stacks, and a lot of Baltimore skinny stacks, which I love against this depleted, heinous-looking Detroit secondary. Even with Baltimore being a run-heavy offense, having Lamar Jackson stacked with one receiver/tight end provides plenty of room for ceiling games from both, especially given his rushing upside. I’m not too concerned about having a Lions runback, but T.J. Hockenson will clearly be the top guy in the lineups that have one.

Nick Lepri’s Expert Picks

One of my favorite players to be targeting this week is Ty’Son Williams. The Detroit Lions defense is atrocious, and it is evident that Williams is the lead back on the Ravens. Despite Latavius Murray getting some usage, Williams will still be the leader in touches for the team. Being $5,800 on DraftKings, $6,400 on FanDuel and $18 on Yahoo. The Ravens should be able to lay down some serious points on the Lions, which should allow them to run aggressively later. He is also less than 5% owned on all sites.

Eric Lindquist Expert Picks

With so much of this slate yet to be determined based on the statuses of Dalvin Cook and DeAndre Hopkins, one thing I’m sure of is I’ll be way over the field on the Chargers passing attack. After a disappointing Week 2 managing just 14 points, pairing Justin Herbert with some combination of Austin Ekeler/Keenan Allen/Mike Williams/Jared Cook and the obvious Chiefs bring-backs isn’t nearly as popular as expected. Through the first two weeks, the Chargers have the second-lowest game script adjusted rush percentage per Awesemo’s advanced stats page, and that shouldn’t change much in a projected shootout in Arrowhead. Mike Williams is my favorite pass-catcher to target of the grouping, coming in with just 3.7% ownership on DraftKings, perhaps because of sticker shock caused by his elevated $6,400 tag.
