Friday, October 16th

Chris Godwin, WR | Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Hamstring): Godwin has been on track all week to play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Coach Arians went on record to say that “this is the best he’s looked in a while” in practice. Godwin has proven to his head coach and training staff that he’s ready to play and “will” suit up for week 6.

Alshon Jeffery, WR | Philadelphia Eagles (Foot): Alshon practiced in limited sessions this week, giving the team a bit of optimism that Jeffrey would make his 2020 debut against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday. After the Eagles finished practice on Friday, the team ruled both Alshon (foot) and teammate DeSean Jackson (hamstring) “out” for week 6. With both Eagles veterans sidelined, the team will continue to look to Greg Ward and Travis Fulgham as primary pass catchers in the Eagles passing game.

Melvin Gordon, RB | Denver Broncos (Illness): Gordon was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol Tuesday evening. The following morning Melvin was sent home when he reported to the team for practice. Gordon was at practice on Thursday. Head coach Vic Fangio said, “there will be consequences,” as far as the DUI was concerned. There hasn’t been any word from the team or the league yet regarding disciplinary actions on the matter. However, Gordon was sent home on Friday due to a non-COVID-related illness. He was tested for the virus, and the results came back negative. As long as Gordon can get over his illness and test negative Saturday, he will be able to suit up Sunday when the Broncos face the New England Patriots.
