About FantasyDraft

Why pay a 15% rake when you can pay next to nothing? FantasyDraft has monthly plans that charge you a flat fee that allow you to play up to a specific dollar level, rake free. So, if you were to go on their $100 per month plan, you’d get up to $25,000 in rake-free entries that month. At a 15% rake, that would normally cost you $3,750. Easy decision. FantasyDraft also offers:

  • Fewer top-heavy contents: Paying out a minimum of 25% of players in paid contests. Fewer top-heavy structures means less variance for GPP players and more chances to get a return on your investment.
  • Flexible Lineup Structure: More freedom to build, done using extra FLEX positions and less specific positions.
  • Multi-Entry Capping: Leveling the playing field by limiting the number of lineups players can enter in contests.
  • Scoring: It’s the same as DraftKings. The only major difference between these sites is the salary cap. FantasyDraft is $100,000, which of course makes it easy to determine what percentage of your cap hit is taken up by a given player.
  • Rosters: There’s one fewer receiver spot and one extra FLEX, allowing the player a little more creativity when building.

Patrick Mahomes: Grade: A, Value: A

Down 24-0 last week, Patrick Mahomes had seen enough. The former MVP exploded during the second quarter and led the Chiefs to 34 unanswered points in the team’s come-from-behind win. Mahomes finished the day with 321 passing yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 53 yards. We know that Mahomes has a massive ceiling and he threw for 446 yards and three touchdowns against this Tennessee team back in Week 10, one that had a much healthier secondary at that time. The Titans allowed the eighth-most passing yards per game on the season (257.4), while 70.3 percent of the yardage surrendered by Tennessee came through the air, the eighth-highest rate in the NFL. This game certainly won’t be as wild as last week’s but make sure you have some Mahomes exposure. He’s the only double-A graded quarterback in Awesemo’s rankings this week and the Chiefs are implied for 30.25 points. – Adam Pfeifer

Derrick Henry: Grade: A, Value: B

Derrick Henry remains the first place to look. He had 34 carries in the Wild Card round and 30 in the Divisional round. He’s also facing a Kansas City defense that gave up 128.2 rushing yards per game with a 58 run defense grade from PFF. The Texans didn’t lean on the run even when they had their big early lead. The Titans absolutely will for as long as they can. Unless you play a lineup build that assumes a massive early lead for Kansas City, I’d at least match the field’s expected ownership and likely exceed it. He’s also the most expensive player on the slate, but that should force you into some interesting lineup construction as a result. – Chris Spags

George Kittle: Grade: A, Value: A

There are really only two tight end options on this slate, and both are worth paying up for. But give me the $4,000 price discount on Kittle over Travis Kelce. Kittle wasn’t used much in last week’s game against Minnesota, but he also had a tough matchup against Anthony Harris and the Vikings No. 1 ranked DVOA tight end defense. This week, the matchup is much easier against the Packers, who finished 25th in DVOA against the position this year. Kittle smashed against Green Bay last time out, with a 6-129-1 line — his second-highest fantasy total of the season. At this price point he’s nearing lock territory. -Nolan Kelly
