This will include team capsules as well as player rankings and comments for all of your daily fantasy needs. We have loads of information and NFL DFS picks to get into for both DraftKings and FanDuel on this Week 13 Tuesday Night Football slate between the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens.

NFL DFS Picks: Week 13 Tuesday Night Football

Dallas Cowboys: 18.25

Quarterback

This is not going to be an easy matchup for Andy Dalton, who will be facing the 10th best passing DVOA. Over their last seven games, the Ravens have allowed an average of 207.8 yards passing with just eight touchdowns passing and two rushing to opposing signal-callers. It is not for a lack of volume, as these totals have come on an average of 34.9 passing attempts.

Dalton has four touchdowns passing in his last two games, but that is about all we have in the good news category. In his three games with at least 20 passing attempts, he is averaging 27 completions on 40.3 attempts for 228 yards and five touchdowns against four interceptions.

Running Back

Though Baltimore has allowed three different running backs to top 118 yards rushing, they have ceded just four touchdowns rushing this year. Rex Burkhead caught two scores in Week 10, but those were the only ones allowed to the position. In his last six games, Ezekiel Elliott has topped 51 yards rushing twice and 80 combined yards twice with one touchdown reception. He should approach 20 touches, but this is not the usual fantasy goldmine we have come to expect.

In this same span, Tony Pollard has three games with 58 combined yards, and he has the only rushing touchdown. In the single-game contests, we can consider Pollard as an option for the salary relief.

Wide Receiver

In their last 30 games, the Ravens have allowed just seven receivers to top the 100-yard mark. Dalton has not played favorites when it comes to his pass catchers with each of the big three receivers and tight end Dalton Schultz seeing similar target shares. Let price, popularity and personal preference be your guide when deciding among Amari Cooper,  CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.

Tight Ends

Dalton Schultz has at least four targets in all but one game this season, and he has 26 in the last four games. By comparison, Blake Bell has just 11 on the entire season. Schultz has three touchdowns, which makes him an intriguing leverage option when considering Lamb has four, Cooper three, Cedrick Wilson two and Gallup one. The cupboard is pretty bare when considering that Dalton is averaging one touchdown pass for every 30.4 pass attempts.

Defense/Special Teams

The Ravens have allowed multiple sacks in five of their last six games, with nine turnovers in their last five. On the other hand, the Cowboys have only 10 takeaways, which is the second-lowest figure in the league. Their 22 sacks are in the bottom third.

Baltimore Ravens: 26.75

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson is expected to play on Tuesday despite missing the last game with COVID-19. He last played on Nov. 22 against Tennessee. We know that everyone is impacted differently by illness (e.g. Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Sunday Night Football), so there is some additional risk here.

RG3 started on Wednesday, but he left the game late with a hamstring injury. Trace McSorley is now the backup, and with Jackson’s effectiveness a question mark, there is a chance McSorley will see more than just mop-up duty.

This season has been a major departure from Jackson’s MVP campaign. He is averaging 194.8 yards passing per game, which is ahead of only Cam Newton and Sam DarnoldThough this is just 14 fewer yards than last year, his touchdown pace is falling short by nearly one per game. He is also averaging 27 fewer yards rushing per game after posting the eighth-best per-game figure last year.

Running Back

Mark Ingram and rookie J.K. Dobbins will be back after missing the Ravens’ last game while in the COVID protocol. Prior to that we saw Dobbins take a major step forward, though will that momentum still be there on Tuesday? There are the tricky questions and uncertainty we will be sifting through. Baltimore has been content to roll with a split backfield for the last two seasons, and this game should be no different. Gus Edwards makes for an interesting leverage option as the one healthy Baltimore running back. It is likely that Justice Hill will once again be inactive, but if Dobbins or Ingram are not fully ready, there is a chance he will be in the mix. Last week he had the first 11 touches of the season, so this is a stretch even if he is on the roster for Tuesday. Though, as we saw on Monday with Cam Sims and Logan Thomas, anything can happen on a single-game slate.

Prior to being on the COVID list, Dobbins had at least 12 carries in three of four games. Ingram had dropped out of the picture for the most part, with just seven carries in his last two healthy games. Finally, Edwards is still very much in play, as he has rolled to touchdowns in four of his last six appearances. Fullback Patrick Ricard has also been activated from the COVID reserve list.

Wide Receiver

Through 11 games this season, only Marquise Brown is averaging more than 40 yards receiving per game, and he is barely doing that with 516 on the year. Willie Snead has been dealing with COVID and missed Wednesday’s game, but he does have seven targets in three of his last four games. Though Snead is still on the COVID list as of this writing Monday night, he is expected to be active for Tuesday’s game.  The latest news has both Willie Snead and Mark Andrews being held out tonight.

Rookie third-rounder Devin Duvernay has three targets in four of his last six games, and he is active in the return game, so he is worthy of consideration on Tuesday in the single-game format. Finally we get to Dez Bryant, who like fellow former Cowboy Deion Sanders found a post-retirement resurgence with Baltimore. At this point he is mostly a possession receiver, though he does have seven targets in his two games. Update: I had originally missed that Bryant was $1,000 on DraftKings, that makes him an option regardless of Snead’s status. On FanDuel he is $7,000 which is still reasonable, but not particularly enticing given the general lack of fantasy goodness in the Baltimore passing game this season. He needs a touchdown to be a difference maker on FanDuel.

Tight End

The latest news has both Willie Snead and Mark Andrews being held out tonight.

Mark Andrews is expected to be activated after being in the COVID protocol. On the season he is the second-most targeted Raven, though we have no idea about his workload. Nick Boyle is on the injured reserve and out for the rest of the season. Journeyman Luke Willson was picked up by Baltimore after being dropped by Seattle, and he is a dart-throw option if you are building 50 single-slate lineups.

There is a lot of uncertainty with the potential health of Andrews, so be sure to tune into Live Before Lock on the Awesemo YouTube channel, as we hope to have a clearer picture closer to kickoff with 90 minutes of analysis leading up to lock.

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas has been a disaster, ceding 23 turnovers to the opposition, which is the second-most on the season. Baltimore is in the middle of the pack, allowing about 1.5 per game. Dallas has a good offensive line, but they are still allowing nearly three sacks per game, which is right in line with what the Ravens are rolling up.

Tuesday Night DraftKings Showdown + FanDuel Single Game NFL DFS Strategy

The rankings below are best utilized for building out single-entry and three-max lineups and also for head-to-head and three-man formats. They provide a nice barometer for player value, but for those of you who are taking the MME approach, remember that correlation with your lineups is key. This means matching a receiver or two if you have a quarterback in the Captain/MVP slot. This also works conversely with pairing a Captain/MVP pass catcher with their signal-caller.

  1. Lamar JacksonWith the assumption he is a full-g0, he is the top play by nearly 50% in the projections.
  2. Ezekiel ElliottThis is all about the unfettered access and full healthy with a projection for two dozen touches.
  3. Marquise BrownWe are in a brave new world.
  4. Amari Cooper: Do you believe? Well, then this is an easy play. He is ceding a lot of targets to his compatriots.
  5. Andy DaltonUnder most circumstances, Dalton would be a fringe to-10 option.
  6. Dalton Schultz: Looking towards the discounted price and sub-optimal popularity seems to be a potential winning strategy.
  7. CeeDee Lamb: Posting double-digit points in two of his last three showings.
  8. Dez Bryant: We have come through the looking glass.
  9. Gus EdwardsIf you are cynical, then play Edwards.
  10. J.K Dobbins: Yes, this is a decision to slot him below Edwards.

  3. Michael GallupTough to be excited with so many options that Dalton can choose from.
  4. Tony PollardLooking for a lucky situation here, but it is not as much of a stretch as most would believe.
  5. Mark IngramI would need to be in the 50-lineup range before reaching here.

  1. I am a bit suspect at Snead and Andrews being available when *ALL* available information states the opposite. How confident are you they will be off COVID restriction?

  2. I am hoping we have better information this afternoon.

Because the severity of the illness is different for everyone it is hard to speculate. If a player is active, it would make sense that they are a full go – however that is just a guess.

We only have to look back to Sunday Night Football when Clyde Edwards-Helaire was active but did not see the field after missing practice for a couple of days with the flu.
