Part of success in NFL DFS is knowing how likely a stack is going to be the highest-scoring one on the slate and how much ownership that stack is going to get. That way, you know whether a stack is going over- or under-owned relative to their odds of success and you can choose whether or not to eat the chalk stack or fade it. Fortunately, our own Alex ‘Awesemo’ Baker has created a Top Stacks Tool to help you with just that. He releases it every Sunday morning before lock for all your DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo and FantasyDraft needs, and you can gain access to it by signing up HERE.

NFL DFS Stacks: Top Option
This isn’t going to catch anyone off guard, but we have the Kansas City Chiefs coming off a bye with a slate-high 30.75 implied total going up against the Oakland Raiders, who just got torched by the Sam Darnold and the New York Jets. The most popular stack will be Patrick Mahomes with one of Sammy Watkins/Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, brought back with Darren Waller, so don’t be afraid to differentiate with some additional, lower owned options
On DraftKings though, Tyreek Hill is priced up to the point that his ownership isn’t following (sub 10%), so pairing him up with Mahomes makes for a great tournament option. He’s been removed from the injury report so that ownership may rise heading into tomorrow. The Raiders have given up the most plays of 20+ and the third most of 40+ yards this season to opposing passing attacks. Damien Williams has been ruled out, so feel free to add in LeSean McCoy for an all out Kansas City assault. Game stacking with Tyrell Williams and Waller is also in the cards.
NFL DFS Stacks: Contrarian Option
This is a tough one. We’re seeing Patrick Mahomes at about 15% ownership, and then about nine quarterbacks between 5-8%. But you’re not going to get at 7% ownership on Lamar Jackson every week, that, we can guarantee. This 49ers vs. Ravens game projects as one of the most paced down options on the slate, but the game total of 46 is respectable. Really, all you need from Jackson is for him to break off one big run to hit value.
Unfortunately, the Ravens are always a tough stack – over the their past three weeks, just one receiver has run over 22 routes in a game. Not great. With a run-first QB like Jackson, in a tougher matchup, you’re probably better of pairing him up with one receiver and hoping that receiver ends up in the end zone more than once. Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown both rank in the top-20 in Red Zone targets this season.
NFL DFS Stacks: Value Option
Any time you can take a winless team led by Andy Dalton, missing their top wide receiver, you have to do it. All three of the top options on the Bengals are priced down a great bargains in their own right. Boyd is clearly the top dog, having playing at a 100% snap rate last week and leading the team in routes run. Auden Tate, who ranks 9th in the NFL in red-zone targets, comes in a close second. Those two with Dalton are projected for less than 1% ownership as a combo across the industry.
The Jets are bottom eight in the NFL at defending WR1s, WR2s and opposing TEs and RBs, so there are number of options on the Bengals side of things. You can bring it back with a reasonably priced Le’Veon on Bell, who gets the 30th ranked Bengals run DVOA as a 3.5 road favorite, or spend down to Robby Anderson if you want to go for a home run hitter with big-play upside.
