NFL DFS Week 12 has finally arrived, and it’s time to talk strategy. Stacking a quarterback with one of more of his pass catchers provides a solid way to add upside to a daily fantasy football lineup. With Week 12 offering a full slate of games, here are a few NFL DFS stacks worth considering on the main slate. NFL DFS Top Stacks for Week 12 on DraftKings + FanDuel
Top Stack: Kansas City Chiefs
With Kansas City returning to the main slate, they reclaim their weekly place among the top projected stacks on Awesemo. The Chiefs find themselves in the premier shootout game of the week against the Buccaneers. The Chiefs are 3.5-point favorites in a game totaled at 56 points overall. After a strong start to the year, the Tampa Bay defense has now allowed at least 23 points in four straight games. While Mahomes is expensive on both DraftKings and FanDuel, this stack looks worth the pay-up.
Patrick Mahomes currently completes 67.9% of his passes for 8.1 yards per attempt. He has six games with at least 300 passing yards and none below 200 this season. As a defense, Tampa Bay only allows 6.3 yards per pass attempt to opposing signal-callers. However, they’ve struggled in recent weeks, even allowing Jared Goff to notch 376 yards in their most recent game.
As for stacking options, Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill are the top choices. Both enter the slate with elevated price tags, making the double stack difficult. However, Sammy Watkins looks likely to make his return after injuring his hamstring in Week 5. Watkins had seven targets in three of four games before the injury. With Watkins functioning as a full-time player within the offense, Mahomes double stacks enter the conversation on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Top Stack: Buffalo Bills
Another premier game on the Week 12 main slate, the Bills enter the week as 4.5-point favorites over the Chargers in a game totaled at 51.5. Similar to the Buccaneers, the Chargers have regressed on defense. Their decline has been even more extreme; Los Angeles has allowed at least 28 points in each of their last eight games. With Buffalo scoring 27.2 points per game, a Bills stacks look valuable on the Week 12 main slate.
Josh Allen has taken a major step forward as a passer in 2020. He is completing 68.4% of his passes for 7.9 yards per pass attempt. Both marks rank inside the top 10. Allen has also displayed week-winning upside with five 300-yard passing games under his belt so far this year. The Chargers rank middle of the pack with 6.5 yards per pass attempt allowed to opposing quarterbacks. However, this number likely comes in underweight to reality given that the Chargers faced Gardner Minshew, Drew Lock, Derek Carr, Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Flacco in their five most recent games.
Looking at stacking partners, Stefon Diggs is the preferred option with his elite 28.6% target share. Behind Diggs, the Bills already ruled John Brown out for this contest. The leaves Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis to play larger roles within the offense. Beasley already has an 18.8% target share and received 12 targets in Brown’s most recent absence. Likewise, Davis’ route share jumped to 98% in the last game Brown missed. With clear stacking options at every price point, the Bills area team to target on DraftKings and FanDuel this week.

Value Stack: Carolina Panthers
For those looking at cheap stacks, the Panthers provide both price relief and a viable ceiling on the Week 12 main slate. With Teddy Bridgewater set to make his return, the Panthers enter the week as 3-point underdogs in a game totaled at 50.5 points. Playing with clear stacking options, the Panthers are top five in Awesemo’s Week 12 top stacks tool while offering a success-to-ownership ratio that makes them an interesting source of NFL DFS picks.
When healthy, Bridgewater has played at an elite level in 2020. He is completing 72.1% of his passes for 7.7 yards per pass attempt, both ranking inside the top 10. Bridgewater has also hit the 300-yard bonus on three occasions while averaging 255 per game. Minnesota’s secondary ranks among the worst in football with 7.2 yards per pass attempt allowed in their coverage.
As for stacking options, D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson enter the week with depressed price tags. Moore holds a 22.4% target share, and Anderson comes in at 26.6%. For those looking at contrarian plays, Curtis Samuel has seen at least five targets in six straight games. This includes 24 targets combined in his three most recent contests. As another team offering stacking options at every price point, Carolina provides a cheaper path to a ceiling score on DraftKings and FanDuel in Week 12.
