NFL DFS Top Stacks for Week 15 on DraftKings + FanDuel

Top Stack: Kansas City Chiefs

This is yet another week at the peak of the Awesemo Top Stacks Tool for the the Chiefs. The NFL’s most elite offense enters Week 15 facing the Saints in a potential shootout. The Chiefs are 3-point favorites over in a game totaled at 52.5 points.

MVP frontrunner Patrick Mahomes is completing 68.4% of his passes for 8.5 yards per attempt. Both marks rank top 10 in the NFL. Also landing himself in the top 10 in overall pass rate, Mahomes has six straight games with at least 300 yards passing. With nine total games above that mark this year, Mahomes simply reaching his season average yards passing nets the 300-yard bonus on DraftKings. While Mahomes remains expensive, the tools at Awesemo still project him as a value.

As for stacking options, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce stand out as a cut above the rest. Hill and Kelce account for 24.0% and 24.6% of the team’s targets, respectively. Even at their expensive price points, both players clearly provide ceiling potential. Behind the two studs, Sammy Watkins also provides a cheap stacking option. Running a route on almost every dropback, Watkins has a 14.7% target share in healthy games this season.

Despite the rising salaries, the Awesemo top stacks tool still expects the Chiefs to provide immense value in stacks this week.

Top Stack: Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have the second-highest likelihood of finishing as the top stack as 6.5-point favorites over the Eagles. This game has a 49.5 total, the fourth-highest on the DraftKings and FanDuel main slate.

Slumping a little through the middle of the season, Kyler Murray completes 67% of his passes for 7.0 yards per attempt. While Murray has lacked efficiency at times this season, the Cardinals are top four in overall play rate. Because of the high volume of plays, Murray has attempted at least 34 pass attempts in four straight games. Also providing excellent dual-threat ability, Murray has multiple paths to paying off his salary this weekend.

Unlike the Chiefs, most of Arizona’s receiving production flows through one guy: DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins accounts for 29.1% of the team’s targets and 32.1% of the air yards. Behind him, Christian Kirk enters the picture with a 16.1% target share and a 26.1% air yards share. However, Kirk hasn’t eclipsed six targets in any of his last five games. Similarly, Larry Fitzgerald‘s presence on the field limits other pass catchers more than he provides any stacking viability himself. The most interesting option behind Hopkins looks like receiving tight end Dan Arnold, who at least fills out a thin position.

While far less likely than Kansas City to finish as the top stack in Week 15, the Cardinals still provide the second-most value on the slate.

Value Stack: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With Kansas City soaking up much of the value in the NFL DFS top stacks tool, most teams enter the slate with negative leverage. However, Tampa Bay stands out as a cheaper stack that still provides leverage on the main slate. The Buccaneers are 6.5-point favorites over the Falcons in a game totaled at 48.5 points.

Now playing in his age-43 season, Tom Brady continues to defy father time. However, his advanced stats show some decline, with a 64.8% completion percentage and 7.0 yards per pass attempt. While both marks fall outside the top 20, Brady still has four 300-yard passing performances this year. With Atlanta ranking bottom five in passing yards per attempt, Brady’s matchup provides the requisite upside to target in tournaments in Week 15.

In Tampa Bay stacks, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski all provide intriguing options. Godwin leads the team with a 19.5% target share, while Evans has at least nine targets in three of his last four games. Brown functions as a slightly more volatile third receiver, but even he holds a 17.8% target share this season. At the tight end position, Gronkowski has provided value in recent weeks. with at least six targets in two of his last three games.

With very little value on the Week 15 DFS main slate, Tampa Bay stands out as a team that provides solid price-adjusted NFL DFS plays.
