For the sake of this article, we will keep our focus on football and the 2021 NFL season. Here are three NFL fantasy picks you can make right now for this upcoming season.

PrizePicks NFL Fantasy: 2021 Season Props

It is important to note that, much like odds that update throughout the day, these props at PrizePicks are subject to change. So if you like these NFL picks below, it is wise to jump on them quickly.

Derrick Henry: Over 1,550.5 Yards Rushing

When discussing NFL props for the upcoming season, it is important to remember that the league added a 17th game to the schedule.

This rushing prop set for the NFL’s most dominant rusher from the past couple seasons is too low. Yes, the Titans added Julio Jones to the receiving corps, but that does not mean Mike Vrabel of all people will be changing his team’s philosophy. Rather, the presence of Jones opposite of A.J. Brown forces the defense to respect two physically intimidating wide receivers, thus making things easier on Derrick Henry to run the football.

Henry is coming off a season in which he ran for 2,027 yards. This came a season after he ran for 1,540 yards in 15 games. He has proven to be capable of remaining healthy throughout his NFL career. The return of left tackle Taylor Lewan will also assist in this prop hitting the over.

Lamar Jackson: Over 950.5 Yards Rushing

Say what you want about Lamar Jackson as a passer, but his ability to be a playmaker is elite. Playing 15 games in each of the past two season, Jackson ran for 1,206 and 1,005 yards. With potentially two additional games this season, Jackson should again rush for over 1,000 yards.

The offensive line for Baltimore is solid, and they have improved their receiving corps. They signed Sammy Watkins and drafted Rashod Bateman, which should be two moves that improve in the passing development of Jackson. This creates headaches for defenses, as they will not be able to sell out on the run with confidence as often.

On top of that, the Ravens will be able to call more passing plays. While one would think this hurts the rushing total, Jackson has proven to be more than capable of scrambling to pick up big gains with his legs whether it is a called run or not. For these reasons, this NFL fantasy prop feels very safe.

Russell Wilson: Over 33.5 Touchdowns Passing

Speaking of safe and stable, there are few players that represent this better than Russell Wilson. While injury concerns will always be brought up for the previous two players due to how often they run with the ball, Wilson has not missed a single game over his nine-year NFL career. That means users should feel comfortable with him throwing at least 34 touchdowns. Over the past couple seasons, Seattle has begun to open the offense up. This has been met with a little pushback from their head coach, but it is clear this is the direction they are going given their personnel.

Wilson has thrown at least 34 touchdowns in three of the past four seasons. After slightly upgrading both the wide receiver and tight end rooms this offseason, along with the further development of D.K. Metcalf, Wilson could be ready for his best statistical season of his career.
