Welcome to the weekly PrizePicks Main slate breakdown. In this article we’re looking at the best Fantasy Scores to target for the Week 15 Sunday main slate. If you’re new to the site, PrizePicks allows you to bundle over or under selections into parlays for big payouts. So, from each game we’re offered a fantasy total or prop (single stats DFS) amount on select players and then need to make a selection as to whether that player will go over or under the total.

Using the Awesemo weekly DFS projections (which also use 1-point/PPR scoring and 4-point passing TDs) and the Awesemo Prop Tool — which projects specific total for each player — I’ll be targeting the players that stick out as the best options here every week and hopefully provide a good guide as to how to build your PrizePicks tickets.

PrizePicks NFL Fantasy Scores DFS Picks: Week 15 Sunday Slate

QB: Kyler Murray over 246.5 passing yards

The lower total on Kyler Murray here is likely a reflection of a couple factors. First, the blowout possibility, where Arizona doesn’t have to pass much in the second half, if at all, and second the loss of DeAndre Hopkins (out for the year). Those fears are both mitigated by the fact the Cardinals have a very deep receiving core with good downfield threats in Rondale Moore and Christian Kirk, and the fact they play the Lions who allow 7.4 yards per pass attempt, the worst mark in the league. Murray looked great passing the ball downfield last week and likely racks up enough yards here early to get over this mark quickly against such a soft defense. He’s projected for over 280-yards this week in the Awesemo projected DFS stats making his total one of the juiciest over targets for Sunday.

Other Picks:

  • Tua Tagovailoa over 240.5 passing yards: Much like Kyler, Tua Tagovailoa is facing a weaker pass defense and should be able to rack up yards here easy. He’s projected for over 270 passing yards and also is a solid over target here in Week 15.

RB: Myles Gaskin under 50.5 rushing yards

The Dolphins project to finally have a full compliment of running backs available this week as both Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed returned form the Covid list in Week 15, while veteran Malcolm Brown was also activated off injured reserve. With the backfield now suddenly very crowded, and all three players getting in almost no practice, the play here is likely just to fade the entire situation. Gaskin has been okay in higher volume situations but is averaging just 3.7 ypc on the season. He’s projected for under 50-rushing yards this week on Awesemo and, with the Jets also featuring such a poor pass defense, his rushing total here makes for a good under play.

Other Picks

  • D’Onta Foreman over 48.5 rushing yards: One fill in player I do like targeting for an over this week is the Titans D’Onta Foreman. The Steelers have allowed 5.5 ypc against in their last three games and Foreman leads the Titans backfield in touches over the last three games as well. Awesemo has him projected for well over 50-rush yards this week

WR: Deebo Samuel over 41.5 receiving yards

The total this week on Deebo Samuel is either very sharp or a completely unjustified overreaction to his increased usage as a running back. It is a little concerning that Samuel has only seen seven targets now in his last three starts, but head coach Kyle Shanahan did mention that his lower target share has been somewhat induced by his inability not to practice in full of late. Samuel is seemingly healthy again and was off the injury report for Week 15 so expect his targets to go back up. He’s projected for well over 55 receiving yards on Awesemo this week and could realistically hit the over here on just a couple of targets. Take the over and expect a bounce-back game as a receiver for Samuel against a poor passing defense in Atlanta.

Other Picks

  • Christian Kirk over 50.5 receiving yards: The Cardinals receivers will all have to step up in some way this week now that DeAndre Hopkins is out. Christian Kirk was already playing nearly every snap and is averaging 55.5 yards per game and 13.5 yards per catch. He projects as a strong over target here too.

TE: Mike Gesicki over 42.5 receiving yards

The Dolphins take on the Jets so realistically it wouldn’t be out of the question here for all of the Dolphins skill players to have big days. The over prop I like targeting the most here though is undoubtedly on tight-end Mike Gesicki who has gone for 43 or more receiving yards in nine of his last 11-games. One of the only times Gesicki didn’t hit the over on this low total was in a weird 7-target no catch game where he had about four balls go off his fingertips. The Dolphins will likely be without Jaylen Waddle here (Covid) opening up more targets for Gesicki who is averaging about 7.0 per game on the year. He’s projected for well over 50 yards here against the Jets who just allowed Dallas Goedert to go for 100+ yards last week on five catches.
