PrizePicks NFL Fantasy Scores DFS Picks: Week 17

QB: Kyler Murray Over 247.5 Yards Passing

The sentiment on Kyler Murray is understandably low as the Cardinals come in off of three straight losses. Murray has only completed 61% of his passes over the last three games but he is still managed to go over this total in two of his last three starts. Further, he takes on a Dallas team who is great at getting turnovers, but still gives up a lot of soft yards (ninth most yards passing allowed this year). Murray could be in a spot where he has to be passing late into this game (Arizona are 5.5-point underdogs underdogs) and he is projected for well over 280 yards passing. With a desirable match-up, and that large a gap between his over/under and projected total, he makes for a great over target on PrizePicks this week.

Other Picks

Sam Darnold over 182.5 yards passing: There are a lot of low passing totals on quarterbacks to target but the most desirable for an over target is Sam Darnold’s. He is projected for over 220 yards passing and faces a Saints defense who has held a quarterback to under 190 yards just once in their last 10-starts.

RB: Sony Michel Over 65.5 Yards Rushing

This total on Sony Michel looks high, but with Darrell Henderson now out of the picture, the Rams backfield is essentially his alone. Michel took 28 touches last week and has played on over 90% of the snaps in three of his last four starts now. That kind of volume alone makes him a tough under candidate, and the Ravens team cannot stop anyone right now (72 points allowed in their last two games. Michel projected for a monster day with a rushing total that exceeds 100 yards.

Other Picks

Cordarrelle Patterson under 38.5 yards rushing: This total on Cordarrelle Patterson looks low, but he has only gone over it three times in his last eight games. His rushing attempts have dried up of late, as the Falcons continue to give Mike Davis some early down work.

WR: Stefon Diggs Under 75.5 Yards Receiving

The Bills Stefon Diggs has a solid match-up in Week 17 on paper (Atlanta gives up a lot of yards passing), but will likely be facing off against AJ Terrell, who is one of the highest graded cornerbacks on PFF this year. Buffalo should have their full complement of receivers back for this game too, with the surging Gabriel Davis back from Covid. Diggs could have a quieter volume day as Josh Allen looks to exploit the massive gaps in the Falcons defense with the likes of Davis and Dawson Knox. Diggs has a smaller projection this week, than in recent games, and makes for a solid under candidate.

Other Picks

Christian Kirk over 51.5 yards receiving: This is a really low total for a wide receiver who is now acting as his team’s number one option and has seen 21 targets over the last two weeks. Christian Kirk is projected for over 65 yards receiving this week and makes for a solid over target.

TE: Travis Kelce Over 65.5 Yards Receiving

Ultimately, this spot for Travis Kelce is too good to fade. 65.5 yards receiving is nothing to sneeze at, but Kelce is projected for over 68 yards receiving this week in the Projected DFS stats. Kelce is coming off a week of Covid-induced rest but returned to practice early this week and faces a Bengals defense who has allowed the second-most yards receiving to opposing tight-ends this year. Kelce tore apart the Chargers weaker linebacker crew for 10-catches and 19 yards a catch in his last start and should be involved in another higher scoring game. The total is high, but it is high for a reason; the matchup is great for a player who may be hitting his best stride yet as the end of the season comes near.
