Friday, October 30th

Miles Sanders, RB | Philadelphia Eagles (Knee): Sanders missed Wednesday and Thursday’s practice session for the Eagles heading into week 8. Reports originally suggested Sanders would miss roughly 1-2 weeks. Now on the backend of that timeline Sanders’s availability regarding this Sundays match against a porous Dallas is in question. Boston Scott is in play in all formats this week. (update): Sanders has been ruled “out”

Jalen Reagor, WR | Philadelphia Eagles (Thumb): Reagor was activated from the Eagles injury reserve list a few days ago. This timing couldn’t be any better for Philadelphia, who lost DeSean Jackson (ankle) in week 7. Reagor was a full participant at practice on Wednesday and Thursday and “will play” against Dallas on Sunday in week 8. Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward will also play vital roles via the Eagles passing game.

Carlos Hyde, RB | Seattle Seahawks (Hamstring): Hyde was a non-participant at Seahawks practice on Thursday. Running backs Chris Carson and Travis Homer did not practice Thursday either. As I stated below, when I wrote up Hyde, DeeJay Dallas is the only healthy running back on the Seahawks active roster at the moment. With Carson, Hyde, and Homer all sidelined, DeeJay is a must-add in season-long leagues. DeeJay Dallas will be an intriguing punt play on DFS platforms and a risky flex play in season-long leagues if Hyde sits.

Michael Thomas, WR | New Orleans Saints (Ankle, Hamstring): We have a Thomas sighting at practice, folks! Season-long managers that have been holding on to Thomas in hopes that he will play your time may be near. Thomas returning to practice gives him an excellent chance at suiting up this Sunday. It’s worth noting that this would be the first time we’ve seen Thomas on the field since week 1, so there’s no telling how effective he will be. We can still expect Thomas to see a fair share of the target volume if given the green light to play. Michael Thomas will be a WR1 when cleared. (update): Thomas “will not play” week 8.

Joe Mixon, RB | Cincinnatti Bengals ( Foot): Joe Mixon did not practice on Thursday as he is still nursing a “foot” injury he sustained in week 6. It was rumored the Bengals would rest Mixon through their week9 bye. Seeing that Joe missed every day of practice this week, that scenario is looking very likely. Once again, Giovani Bernard becomes an RB2/Flex option this Sunday against the Tennesse Titans in season-long leagues and an interesting option once again in DFS formats. (update): Mixon did not practice on Friday and “will not” play Sunday.

Aaron Jones, RB | Green Bay Packers (Calf): Jones missed another day of practice on Thursday. Packers training staff have been notably cautious with their players regarding soft tissue injuries. A Friday practice session would put Jones on track to play Sunday, but as it stands, he’s very “doubtful.” Jamaal Williams would see another hefty workload in Aarons’s absence. (update): Aaron Jones “will not” play Sunday.
