Friday, November  6th

Kenny Golladay, WR | Detroit Lions (Hip): Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Kenny Golladay “will not” be available for week 9. Kenny exited his week 8 match against the Colts during the first half of the game due to a “hip” injury and was later ruled out after halftime. Golladay was ruled “out” pretty early in the week. Marvin Jones and Quintez Cephus will be the primary pass catchers for the Lions on Sunday. (update): Officially ruled “out.” Marvin Hall could see extra snaps

Sam Darnold, QB | New York Jets (Shoulder): Darnold did not participate in the Jets’ practice on Thursday. Head coach Adam Gase goes on record to say that he feels “pretty good” regarding Darnold playing on Monday night. It seems that the is no danger of Darnold missing week 9. It would be a huge downgrade to the Jets passing game and pass-catchers if Joe Flacco were to take snaps under center. I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted on any developments here.

Chris Carson, RB | Seattle Seahawks (Foot): A nagging “foot” injury has caused  Chris Carson to miss Thursday’s practice for the Seahawks. Carlos Hyde (hamstring) was also a non-participant at practice on Thursday for the Seahawks, battling a “hamstring” injury. DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer would play prominent roles in the Seattle running game if Hyde and Carson were to be ruled out in week 9. (update)Carson and Hyde will not play week 9. DeeJay Dallas is a must-start in all formats.

Chris Godwin, WR | Tampa Bat Buccaneers (Finger): Head coach Bruce Arians said that Godwin “will play” week 9 when the Tampa Bay Bucs take on the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs will also have newly acquired wide receiver Antonio Brown active for this week 9 debut.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB | Dallas Cowboys (Hamstring): Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore states that Elliot will be a “wait and see” approach regarding Zeke’s week 9 availability. Elliot was a limited participant during the week due to a “hamstring” injury sustained in week 8. The Dallas offense is one to generally stay away from as much as possible at the moment. Season-long fantasy managers may want to be proactive and try to acquire Tony Pollard off the waiver wire if he’s available.

Phillip Lindsay, RB | Denver Broncos (Toe): According to head coach Vic Fangio, Lindsay will probably be listed as “questionable” ahead of Sunday’s game with the Atlanta Falcons but “will” suit up to play. Lindsay’s role in the offense will remain the same; he’s in a timeshare with running back Melvin Gordon, who controls the lions share of work in the Denver running game. Lindsay was able to make the most of his opportunity in week 8. Phillip only touched the ball 6 times on Sunday but racked up 83 yards and a touchdown. Lindsay will be an Rb3-4/Flex Sunday.
