Welcome to a review of the week 9(!) NFL slate on DraftKings. We had a single bullet take it down easily and not a great day for 150-maxers. Let’s dive into the Slant and see what we see. The NFL $500K SLANT is a $9 GPP on DraftKings that pays $50,000 to first and has a 2x min cash. It is the GPP to look at if studying NFL DFS players, especially those that mass multi-enter (MME).

Week 9 NFL DFS DraftKings $500K Slant Review | Stack Report
This GPP had 65,359 entries and paid the top 13,710 positions. Of the 16,613 unique DFS players entered, 3,959 (23.8%) made a profit. First place was taken down by a single bullet entry!
Congratulations to BuckeyeITALIAN who won the Slant with one entry, turning $20 into $50,000 by scoring a 234.9, more than 10 points ahead of second place. Featuring a Bills stack (QB/2WR) with no runback, BuckeyeITALIAN had 3 one offs who put up 30 points each and Cook with 40. The Giants defense/special teams put up 13 points against the Football Team sealing the deal and beating a Jake Luton stack (QB/WR/OPP) by 10.84 points. The winning lineup used $49,800 in salary and had a cumulative team ownership of 109.9%.

A larger than normal percentage of teams used all $50,000 this week, usually we see about 35-40% of lineups use all salary available. We had one lineup take 10th place while using just $49,400 in salary:
Besides this low probability lineup (QB/RB/WR/OPP), all the profits were made using $49,700 or more for team salary.
Team ownership sum on the leaderboard was much lower than normal, with most lineups in the top 50 places having a team ownership sum of 83%-110%. This is expected given the number of touchdowns scored by low owned players on Sunday.
The most popular lineup was played 158 times and did not cash, scoring a 131.1 which was well below the cutline of 149.18. This lineup was spit out by an optimizer and by chance is technically a stack (QB/OPP). You can see it used all salary and had a team ownership of 190.6%.

Here is a list of all the stack types that had lineups scoring more than 200 points:
The 150-Maxers
One hundred sixty-two 150-maxers played, making up 37.2% of the field, about 6% less than week 7. Only 10 of the 162 (6.2%) made a profit, including taking fifth and tenth. Those two spots were taken by the same player, the best 150-maxer in this Draftkings GPP, KeefVape. Only cashing 18/150 lineups, KeefVape found profit by stacking the Denver Broncos, QB/WR/OPP for 5th place and QB/2WR/2OPP for 10th place.
82 of the 150-maxers cashed 25 lineups or less with 11 cashing five or less.
Only 37 lineups were reserved and not played. The best lineup possible scored a 269.02 and had no stack.
The best lineup possible with a basic stack (QB/WR/OPP) scored a 267.62.
Lastly, Boom of the Day goes to Olamide Zaccheaus who was in 37 lineups (0.0005%) and put up a 7.8x at $3,000 salary with 23.3 points. Bust of the day has to be Justin Jackson who left at the beginning of the game, scoring 0 points for the 26.7% of lineups that rostered him.
