Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Week 15 Monday Night Football game tonight.

Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 15 Monday Night Football

Top SUPERSTAR Options

The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format. Awesemo’s NFL DFS optimizer creates daily fantasy football cheat sheets. Check out who is popping in the Yahoo NFL DFS cheat sheet for the Week 15 Monday Night Football game.

Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings – $34

Last week Dalvin Cook returned early from a shoulder injury and racked up 205 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns on an eye-popping 27 carries. Tonight he will be wearing a shoulder harness, and the only concern other than in-game injury is that he caught only one of three targets last week. The touchdown equity is high for Cook who has four scores in his last four games. Alexander Mattison is in the health and safety protocol, so that leaves rookie Kene Nwangwu ($10) and fullback C.J. Ham ($10) as the only other alternatives.

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings – $32

Adam Thielen is a game-time decision with an ankle injury though he has not practiced, and this injury prognosis initially had him missing at least three more weeks. Even if he plays, it is hard to see him being fully healthy, and that means another heavy workload for Justin Jefferson. He is in the top eight for targets, receptions and touchdowns. More impressive than his 99.1 yards per game, which ranks second, are the league-leading 22 plays of more than 20 yards. Anything less than 100 yards and a touchdown tonight will be a disappointment.

Jefferson is one of the leading options for SUPERSTAR on Yahoo, and Matt Savoca has an even more in-depth look at his outlook tonight from a holistic view across DraftKings and FanDuel in his Week 15 Monday Night Football Showdown Breakdown.

Yahoo NFL Core Picks

David Montgomery, Chicago Bears – $24

This has been a phenomenal season for David Montgomery, who has seen nearly every running back opportunity for the Bears since returning from his month-long stint on the injured reserve with a knee issue. Over his last five games he has 75 of 91 carries by all Chicago running backs, and in his last two appearances he has been peppered with 16 targets. The defense will be keying in on stopping him, but the volume should help offset that from a fantasy perspective.

Darnell Mooney, Chicago Bears – $20

Allen Robinson is out with COVID, and Marquise Goodwin is doubtful with a knee injury. That means Darnell Mooney should approach double-digit targets tonight. Though the touchdowns have been sparse with Justin Fields ($27) under center, Mooney can make his supporters happy just on receptions and yardage alone.

Yahoo NFL Value Picks

Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears – $12

Though he has yet to reach the end zone, which has held him to single-digit fantasy production for all but two games, Cole Kmet does have nearly 75% of the targets for this position. Jesse James is out, which leaves only Jimmy Graham ($10) to steal any potential red-zone looks. While it is odd that Kmet does not have a touchdown yet, four have gone to this position, so it is only a matter of time before he gets one himself.

Kene Nwangwu, Minnesota Vikings – $10

This is a tournament longshot, but it needs to be pointed out that rookie Kene Nwangwu has two kickoff returns for touchdowns on only 10 attempts. Last week he saw his most sustained work, with two carries and three targets. Tonight he should see half a dozen offensive opportunities with Mattison out of the picture, and there is a chance he could break off a long gain.
