The twist is that any position player can be rostered, and one is designated to receive a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points. Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Week 15 Sunday Night Football game tonight.
Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 15 Sunday Night Football
Top SUPERSTAR Options
The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format. Awesemo’s NFL DFS optimizer creates daily fantasy football cheat sheets. Check out who is popping in the Yahoo NFL DFS cheat sheet for the Week 15 Sunday Night Football game.
Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $40
While Tom Brady did score his second rushing touchdown of the season last week, that is not something we should be counting on going forward. The 68 rushing yards for the season is the most he has tallied in the last decade. Now, what we can count on is Tom Terrific throwing the ball often. Currently he leads the league with 318.0 passing yards per game and 36 aerial scores while averaging just over 42 pass attempts per appearance. Even without Antonio Brown who is still suspended, Brady has skilled pass catchers at every position. There is upside, even at this apex salary as he has half a dozen games with at least four passing scores.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints – $30
It certainly is not pretty, but Taysom Hill does rack up the fantasy production. In his last two starts he has averaged 17 for 31 for 219.5 yards and a pair of touchdowns, albeit with four interceptions. On the ground he also has a pair of scores will averaging 11 carries for 87 yards. In his six games as a starting quarterback he has half a dozen passing touchdowns and an equal number of interceptions. There is no strong need to pair Hill with one of his receivers and it actually makes sense to work him in some lineups with running back Alvin Kamara ($32) in the hopes the Saints do all of their scoring on the ground.
Hill is one of the leading options for SUPERSTAR on Yahoo, and Matt Savoca has an even more in-depth look at his outlook tonight from a holistic view across DraftKings and FanDuel in his Week 15 Sunday Night Football Showdown Breakdown.
Yahoo NFL Core Picks
Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $26
Though he was limited in practice this week with an ankle injury, Leonard Fournette is expected to be a full go. Giovani Bernard was placed on the injured reserve this week so that leaves perennial dog house resident Ronald Jones II as the main backup with Ke’Shawn Johnson as the third options. Over the last three games, Fournette has seen just over 80% of the snaps and nearly all of the touches. During this time frame he has 25 targets and 49 carries which is more than five times the combined opportunities for the rest of the running backs.
Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $24
It is a little tricky to work in Chris Godwin ($31) with the above three players and of course Mike Evans ($28) will be battling with his archrival Marshon Lattimore. Even though there are no position requirements, gamers are still reticent to roster tight ends in the single game format. Over his last four games, Rob Gronkowski is averaging 8.5 targets, 5.5 receptions, 78.5 yards and he has scored twice. This is comparable production on a points per dollar basis when measuring him against the Tampa Bay wideouts.

Nick Vannett ($10) was breaking out with 10 targets in the last two games, however, Adam Trautman ($11) has been activated from the injured reserve and is expected to play tonight rendering both of these players to touchdown hunting status. Cameron Brate ($10) does have 18 targets over his last five games, but he will also be competing with Tyler Johnson ($10) for Brady’s scraps. Finally we have Mark Ingram II who is out of the health and safety protocol and he could be in line for 8-12 opportunities, though Hill and Kamara are going to be the one-two punch in the red zone.
