🏒NHL DFS Top Stacks for DraftKings + FanDuel: Calgary Flames | 2/2
The 2021 NHL season is officially underway. Like many sports, the easiest way to maximize your ceiling is through stacking, and that couldn’t be any truer in hockey. For reference, each goal averages 1.7 assists. In this article I’ll help you find the best stacks and NHL DFS picks to make for DraftKings and FanDuel fantasy hockey lineups using Awesemo’s Top Stack Tool.

Top Stacks: DraftKings + FanDuel NHL DFS Picks | Feb. 2
Top Stack: CGY1
There are only a handful of top lines on this NHL DFS slate that aren’t going over-owned according to the Top Stacks Tool. As a top-10 stack on both sites with positive leverage, Calgary’s first line should be very useful for NHL DFS.
We all know that Edmonton is going to carry much of the ownership weight even on an eight-game slate, so getting different isn’t only easy — it’s necessary. Calgary’s top line of Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau and Andrew Mangiapane is a mix of salary relief (especially on DraftKings at $15,600) and production. Facing the same Winnipeg team they did last game the matchup is also in their favor.
Winnipeg is in the bottom eight in the league in all major defensive categories. This line has top power-play unit correlation and gave us 2 goals last game. We can expect something similar to that again here.

Value Stack: MTL2
We’re going to need some low-owned value with these expensive pay-up options. Montreal’s second line gets us exposure to a top power play in a phenomenal spot going up against the Canucks.
As we saw last game and last week, the Canadiens can score, having put up 23 goals in four games against the porous Canucks. With Nick Suzuki in at center and running the top power-play unit, there is plenty to like here. In nine games Suzuki has tallied 9 points this season. On that same pace, he has 2 goals and 2 assists in four against this Vancouver team. Joining him on the top power-play unit is winger Jonathan Drouin. Just like his center, Drouin has racked up 9 points this year in NHL DFS but doing it more with assists (8). Rounding out the trio is power forward Josh Anderson. Missing nearly a full game after getting sick, he has still put up 6 points and averages just 13:42 of ice time per game. He’s a fantasy producer, averaging 3 shots on goal as well, and he should not be left of this stack.
Vancouver is horrid defensively as they’ve shown. This line is good offensively, and it might just be as simple as that.
