The 2021 NHL season is officially underway. Like many sports, the easiest way to maximize your ceiling is through stacking, and that couldn’t be any truer in hockey. For reference, each goal averages 1.7 assists. In this article I’ll help you find the best stacks and NHL DFS picks to make for DraftKings and FanDuel fantasy hockey lineups using Awesemo’s Top Stack Tool.

It has been nearly a week since we’ve seen the Lightning on an NHL DFS slate, and it’s good to have them back. After dismantling the hapless Blackhawks in Tampa, they get to help the Blue Jackets open up their home schedule.
This has the feel of a hiding in plain sight scenario for Tampa, and their big three of Steven Stamkos, Brayden Point and Ondrej Palat. In two games together this year, they have produced overly dominant stats and metrics. With a positive Corsi-For, expected goals for/against and a ridiculous 80% high-danger rate, they should never be overlooked.
This slate is loaded with good top lines. Some are slightly cheaper, and some are arguably in better matchups, but when this line is under 10% on both sites (4% on DraftKings), getting leverage on the field takes little effort.

After shutting down the Bruins in their first two games, the Devils opened it up last game and showed us what this line can do.
Jack Hughes may be quickly becoming an NHL DFS stud in this league to nobody’s surprise. After adding 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason and working tirelessly, he looks stronger on the puck and faster on the ice. In three games he’s averaging two points per game and facilitating the offense in a Nathan MacKinnon-like style. On his wings are Kyle Palmieri and Yegor Sharangovich. The vet winger Palmieri does everything for the team, including scoring (two points thus far). Drawing big comparisons to previous Russian wingers in the NHL, Sharangovich is the cheapest but should not be forgotten.
As a very cheap line (under $15,000 on DraftKings) with full correlation, I can’t find a single argument against stacking them to save on overall ownership.
