TOR2 (Johnsson-Matthews-Nylander)

Auston Matthews and the Leafs will look to bounce back after an embarrassing home loss to the Hawks as they take on the Flyers, who are on the back-to-back. While we don’t have a big sample on this trio, Johnsson and Matthews have done an excellent job generating quality chances at 5v5, and looking at the matchups here, they’ll avoid the best line for the Flyers, the Couturier line. Throw in some top power-play time for Matthews and 2nd unit run for the Johnsson and Nylander, and you’ve got yourself a huge bargain on DraftKings at $15,400 on DraftKings.

VGK2 (Pacioretty-Stastny-Stone)

The Golden Knights’ 2nd line should will likely go underowned tonight in GPPs despite their solid matchup against the Stars, who are also on a back-to-back tonight. With the Faksa line likely getting shutdown duties tonight against VGK1, VGK2 will get to see a good chunk of 5v5 time against DAL1, who has been content with trading chances, allowing 63 Corsi Against per 60, 37 Scoring Chances Against per 60, and 12.3 High-Danger Chances Against per 60. This Golden Knights’ line has been incredible since Stone came over, generating over 70 Corsi For per 60, 33.5 Scoring Chances For per 60, and 14.7 High-Danger Chances For per 60 at 5v5, and they’ve all been on the power-play in some fashion. Their $17,600 price tag is fair, but the low total in Dallas will keep them from being owned by many DFSers tonight.

ANA2 (Rakell-Shore-Silfverberg)

If you’re looking to get up to some expensive stacks and defensemen, you’ll need to have a dirt cheap stack, and that’s exactly what we have in the Ducks’ 2nd line. At just $12,700 on DraftKings, we get a couple talented offensive players in Rakell and Silfverberg, and a line that has been respectable at 5v5 with a winnable 5v5 matchup. It’s unclear what the matchups will be at 5v5, but the Avs have surrendered the 4th-most High-Danger Chances Against per 60 over their last 10 games, and have the worst penalty-kill on home ice this season, which helps ANA2’s cause, as they’ll all be on the power-play.
