OTT2 (Tkachuk-White-Stone)
The 2nd line for the Sens should be able to create their fair share of shots and scoring chances tonight on the road in Chicago. The Hawks have gotten a bunch of wins lately, but their defense has been nothing short of horrendous, allowing by far the most Scoring Chances Against per 60 and High-Danger Chances Against per 60 at 5v5 since January 1, while the Stone line has had no issues generating offense all season. This line is still only $15,6oo on DraftKings, and in a great matchup against mostly the Kane and DeBrincat lines, which have 100+ minute samples of being giving in their own end.
VGK1 (Marchessault-Karlsson-Smith)
The Vegas top line comes into tonight at only $15,200 on DraftKings despite a solid matchup on the road in Colorado against the Avs. Colorado has done a decent job at 5v5 this season, but their kryptonite has been staying out of the penalty-box, as they lead the league (by a good margin) in Times Short-Handed and also own a bottom-5 penalty-kill. The power play for the Golden Knights has struggled lately, but a line that has solid even-strength numbers (62 CF/60, 30 SCF/60) and has full-power-play correlation on the top unit is much too cheap on a slate that has a lot of top lines to pay up for.
TB2 (Gourde-Point-Kucherov)
The new-look 2nd line for the Lightning have had success in their short time together, and they’ll get a favorable matchup against the Columbus top-6 tonight. So far, this line has a 61.3 Corsi For Percentage with over 30 Scoring Chances For per 60 and 14.3 High-Danger Chances For per 60 at 5v5, while the Blue Jackets’ top line has been leaky, allowing over 15 High-Danger Chances Against per 60 over their last 15 games (110 minutes). The Jackets’ kill has been great as of late, but if there’s ever a night for them to be tested, it would be against this loaded Tampa power-play, which ranks #1 in the league in PP success rate. Even if they aren’t able to do a ton of damage at 5v4, this is still a winnable 5v5 matchup for a very good line for under $20K.
