STL1 (Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko)

**Despite playing their best hockey of the season, STL has switched up their lines, unfortunately. I prefer Maroon-O’Reilly-Tarasenko, as they’re on the power-play with Pietrangelo and cost only $14,700 on DK.**

The Hurricanes weren’t able to take advantage of this matchup last night, but the Blues have been playing as well as any team in the NHL over the last few weeks, ranking in the top-5 in both Scoring and High-Danger Chances For per 60 at 5v5 over their last 10 games. The numbers for this line stack up with any line in the league, as they create nearly 70 Corsi For per 60, 35 Scoring Chances For per 60, and 16.6 High-Danger Chances For per 60. These 3 are split up on the power-play, but hosting the Senators on a back-to-back is about as good a matchup as you can get. The 4.0 team total and price should make this line chalky in tournaments, but with other great spots in Boston, Tampa Bay, Nashville, Calgary, and Vegas, their ownership should be manageable in large-field tournaments.

SJ3 (Donskoi-Hertl-Kane)

The Sharks’ 3rd line will likely go up against the Point line in what should be a very high-event matchup, as TB2 is still allowing over 28 Scoring Chances Against per 60 and 11.4 High-Dagner Chances Against per 60, and those numbers go up to 33.3 SCA/60 and 13.4 HDCA/60 when they’re at home in the shutdown role. SJ3 has some of the best numbers we’ve seen for any line in hockey this year, as they generate over 36 Scoring Chances For and 17.8 High-Danger Chances For per 60. Power-play correlation is usually what keeps people off this line, but still priced at only $15,600 on DraftKings, making it easy to play them with either Karlsson or Burns, this line makes for a solid contrarian play on the road in Tampa Bay.

BOS1 (Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak)

The top line for the Bruins will most likely project as the top raw-point line no matter which projections you look at, and even though they’re expensive, they’re not too difficult to fit in if you go to a couple of the cheap lines in PHI, MIN, MTL, etc. There’s really no matchup that you’d want to avoid with BOS1, but the Rangers are top-5 in all of Corsi Against per 60, Scoring Chances Against per 60, and High-Danger Chances Against per 60 at 5v5, so all signs point it to being a BOS1 night. They’re fully-correlated on the power-play as well, and looking at the lines that are priced above $20K on this slate, this line grades out as the best value of that group even with their $22,100 price tag.
